The second entry in the infamous Dragon Quest series. Follows the story of the heirs of Erdrick, the hero of the first game. Considered one of the most difficult entries of the series due to its extreme difficulty spikes, cryptic progression and borderline unfair battles that could easily wipe max level parties with bad RNG.
Fun fact: The developers admitted in interviews that no one on their team ever played the game to the end, so there was no way for them to know of the horrors awaiting players at end stages of the game.
