A remake of the popular Harvest Moon: Back to Nature on the Playstation, this is the first Harvest Moon game to be on the Game Boy Advance. Although it’s a remake, it improves everything by both combining features from the previous games and adding new elements that would become staples to to the series. Because of the sheer amount of upgrades and improvements (particularly in the loading department as the loading times of Back to Nature are notoriously long), it’s considered one of the best entries ever released.
The game has aged very well and fans of the newer titles who want to see the roots of the series will be surprised by how much content is in this handheld title. It’s so good that, despite being a remake of Back to Nature, it received a modern remake in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. When a remake receives a remake, that says something.
