Heart events are scenes between you and a girl. It’s important to view these events if you want to marry a certain girl.
Black Heart Event
Requirement:
- Ann is at black heart level or higher
Go to the Inn between 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM on any day except Monday or Saturday. Doug and Ann greet you, and Ann will ask her father if you can have lunch.
Responses:
- “Sounds great!”: +3000 affection points
- “I really couldn’t…”: -2000 affection points
Purple Heart Event
Requirement:
- Ann is at purple heart level or higher
- Must have seen the black heart event
Go to the Inn’s second floor on a Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Ann is cleaning a room while singing, and your presence will surprise her. Ann will then ask you if you like cleaning or not.
Responses:
- “I like cleaning.”: +3000 affection points
- “I hate cleaning.”: -2000 affection points
Blue Heart Event
Requirement:
- Ann is at blue heart level or higher
- Must have the largest rucksack upgrade and a free item slot
- Must have seen the purple heart event
Go to the Inn on a Monday or Friday, between 12:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Doug and Ann are having a conversation when Ann suddenly starts feeling sick. As you walk in, Doug asks what you should do.
Responses:
- “Take her to the clinic.”: +3000 affection points and a special item, “Ann’s Music Box”
- “I… I don’t know…!”: No effect.
Yellow Heart Event
Requirement:
- Ann is at yellow heart level or higher
- Must have seen all other heart events
Visit the Inn between 10:30 AM and 7:00 PM, on any day except Monday and Friday. Doug will ask you about how you feel about his daughter.
Responses:
- “I like her.”: +3000 affection points
- “Only as a friend.”: No effect.
Rival Heart Events
To view rival heart events, a girl’s affection level towards you must be lower than the event you are trying to view. If you raise a girl’s affection levels too high, you won’t see any of the rival events.
Black Rival Heart Event
- Location: 2nd floor of the Inn
- When: Any day in the first week of spring or summer, any day during fall or winter
- Time: 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Ann tries to talk to Cliff in his room, but he’s still very shy. She decides not to force Cliff to talk if he doesn’t want to, and Cliff appreciates Ann for trying to talk to him.
Blue Rival Heart Event
- Location: The Church (spring or summer only)
- When: Any day except Saturday, it must be rainy weather
- Time: 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Ann delivers some lunch to Pastor Carter and he will ask her to accompany Cliff and show him around town to make some friends. Ann agrees and says she’ll do it later.
Important Note: You must trigger this event before Cliff gets a job at the Winery in the first year in order to trigger the next event.
Green Rival Heart Event
- Location: 1st floor of the Inn
- When: Saturday of any season, and it must be Year 2 or later
- Time: 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
This event will only trigger if Cliff gets a job and stays at Mineral Town. Ann says that Cliff can stay with them forever if he wants to. Cliff will thank them for their hospitality.
Orange Rival Heart Event
- Location: Cellar of Aja Winery
- When: Any day except Saturday on any season, and its Year 4 or later
- Time: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Ann brings Cliff his lunch that he forgot to bring. Duke will comment on how they look like a married couple. Cliff is speechless and Ann walks away.
Note: Seven days after viewing this event, Ann and Cliff will get married.
