In order to create the Awakening Incense, you must complete the first part of the Mirage Land’s exploration diary.

Here are all the requirements you need to meet before proceeding:

1. Complete the “Divine Tree” Ruin Crystal: You will obtain the Awakening Incense recipe as a reward.
2. Collect Dream Powder and a Dream Flower: You will find both items in the Mirage Land’s forest.
3. Synthesize a Neutralizer: The Awakening Incense recipe also requires a Neutralize-type ingredient.

Unlocking the Awakening Incense Recipe

The recipe is a reward for completing the “Divine Tree” entry in the Mirage Land’s exploration diary.

For the “Tree Beyond Illusion” section, you will need the following memory fragments:

• “Tale of the Phantom Forest”. Its keywords are “forest ruled by illusions” and “has attained sentience”.
• “Disciple’s Memory 6”, which has the keywords “Demonic Beasts”, “Divine Tree” and “attack”.

In order to complete the “Cleansing Firewood” section, you need the following fragments:

• The “Pure White Charcoal” fragment. It contains the keywords “charcoal”, “remnants of firewood” and “shiny powder”.
• The “Disciple’s Memory 7” fragment. The keywords are “special method”, “firewood” and “clear the mist”.

After completing both sections, return to the Atelier. You will automatically unlock the Awakening Incense recipe.

Collecting the Ingredients

The Awakening incense recipe requires a Dream Flower and Dream Powder. You will find both ingredients by interacting with the large flowers in the Mirage Land’s forest.

Use the staff on the flowers to gather Dream Powder.

In order to collect the Dream Flower, switch over to the Grass Sickle.

Once you have the two ingredients, return to the Atelier and synthesize the recipe.

Synthesizing the Awakening Incense

Select the Awakening Incense recipe. Insert the Ancient Branch, which you obtained earlier in the chapter, in the top Quality loop.

Use a Dream Flower in the Quality loop on the right.

Add the Dream Powder to the Quality loop on the left.

Insert a Neutralizer in the bottom Quality loop.

Synthesize the recipe to obtain the Awakening Incense.

Take the Awakening Incense back to the Slumbering River Valley in order to advance the main story.
