The barn is a building in the game where you can keep farm animals like cows and sheep. Gotz from the Woodcutter’s House can upgrade and expand the barn if you meet the following requirements:

• Have the Chicken Coop upgrade
• Have the House upgrade

Once you meet the requirements, you can upgrade the barn when you provide him with the following materials:

• 500 Lumber
• 6800 G

The barn’s expansion gives you room for more animals and lets you place machines to make new products.

The Barn

The normal barn can house a maximum of ten animals. Any cows and sheep you buy from Barley at Yodel Ranch get transferred here automatically.

The normal barn comes with ten feed boxes for your animals, a feed dispenser where you can collect fodder, and a shipping bin where you can ship products like milk and wool from inside the barn.

Animals

Adult cows that are fed daily and are in good health will produce milk daily. You can collect milk by using the milker on adult cows. The quality of milk depends on the cow’s affection.

Cows that win the Cow Festival competition will produce Golden Milk (Milk G).

Adult sheep produce wool every seven days. Same with other animals, the quality of wool depends on their affection levels. Any sheep that has won the Sheep Festival contest will produce Golden Wool (Wool G).

Barn Expansion

You must first upgrade the chicken coop and your house before you can upgrade the barn. For the two upgrades, you need 790 lumber and 9700G. Gotz can upgrade the house after he completes the chicken coop expansion.

Once you’ve upgraded both the chicken coop and your house, Gotz can upgrade your barn next. For the barn expansion, he will require 500 lumber and 6800G. The upgrade process takes 3 days to complete.

The upgraded barn has room for up to twenty animals. It comes with an additional feed dispenser and ten feed boxes. After upgrading the barn, Saibara will sell you a cheese maker and a yarn maker.

More Animals

As long as you keep your cows healthy, they can be a reliable source of income because they produce milk every day. With a barn full of healthy adult cows, you can earn 4000 G each day by selling milk.

Tip: Although sheep’s wool is more expensive than milk, you can only harvest it once every week. Since you can get milk from cows every day, having a barn full of cows is considerably more profitable.

Cheese Maker

Once the barn has finished upgrading and you have purchased the mayonnaise maker from Saibara, the cheese maker becomes available. Saibara needs 1 adamantite ore and 5000G to build the cheese maker. It takes 5 days to finish.

Put milk in the cheese maker to create cheese. The quality of the cheese will increase depending on the quality of the milk used.

Yarn Ball Maker

Saibara will sell you the yarn maker after you’ve purchased the cheese maker. It costs 20000 G and one adamantite ore. It also takes five days to build.

Tossing wool in the machine will produce a yarn ball. A yarn ball sells for more gold than regular wool. Its quality depends on the quality of the wool used.
