The easiest way to create a Bomb of Quality 50 in Atelier Ryza is by leveling up the recipe’s Quality loop. Synthesize at least two high Quality Green Supplements and use them in the Bomb recipe.
You will need a Bomb of at least Quality 50 to clear Chapter 3 – Everybody’s Changing, part 4.
Make sure you meet these requirements before proceeding:
- Raise your Alchemy Level: The Bomb requires at least Alchemy Level 6. Raising it up to 10 will allow you to use one additional ingredient, but it isn’t necessary.
- Gather the ingredients: You will need two Crimson Ores which you can obtain on Traveler’s Road.
- Synthesize high Quality Green Supplements: Leveling up the Quality loop is the simplest method to meet the quest’s requirement. The easiest way to do it is by adding two high Quality Green Supplements.
Collecting Ingredients
Start by gathering the Crimson Ores.
Head to Traveller’s Road and you will find these stones with red dots near the entrance. Use your staff on them to collect the Crimson Ore. Make sure to gather at least two.
Next, return to the Atelier. Collect Clean Water from the pond.
Equip the Reaper’s Scythe and gather leaves from the bushes around the Hidden Clearing.
Head back inside and start by synthesizing the high Quality Green Supplements. Use the Auto-Add function and choose the “High Quality” option.
You will obtain the high Quality Green Supplements for the Bomb recipe.
Synthesizing the Quality 50 Bomb
Select the Bomb recipe from the list.
The Quality loop you need is on the right side. Leveling it up requires Wind Element 3 which is fulfilled by the Green Supplements you just made.
Add a Crimson Ore to the Effect 1 loop.
Next, insert a Crimson Ore into the Effect 2 loop and you will unlock the Quality loop. Avoid the other loops, as you need to save ingredients for the next step.
Insert one high Quality Green Supplement into the Quality loop.
Add the second high Quality Green Supplement into the Quality loop to level it up. This adds 20 Quality to the Bomb recipe.
This way, you will meet the Quality 50 requirement while using four ingredients.
You can synthesize the recipe right away without adding the final ingredient.
Fast travel back to the Old Town. Use the newly-synthesized Bomb on the pile of rubble to complete the quest.
