In order to unlock the recipe for Bos’ ultimate weapon, Lost Alucard, you will need to clear the normal quest “A Special Gift from Hometown” in Underworld Orim.
Here are the requirements you will have to meet:
- Advance the main story: The ultimate weapon quests only become available once you reach “Code of the Universe”, the final chapter in the main story.
- Obtain five Kurken Fruits: The quest requires you to deliver five Kurken Fruits.
- Unlock the Grand Orgen recipe: You will find the recipe for Grand Orgen on the top side of the Skill Tree. It requires 1500 SP.
- Gather Black Glitter Stones: Lost Allucard requires Black Glitter Stones as its other core ingredient.
Unlocking the Lost Alucard Recipe
The quest is available in the Underworld Orim region. Fast travel to Holy Site of Urdis – Windle.
From the Atelier, face east and head to the tree on the right.

Climb up the ladder.

On the first floor, head up the spiral staircase.

On the second floor, ignore the bridge to the east and cross the bridge to the south.

You will see Kilo standing in the center of the platform.

Talk to Kilo in order to accept the “A Special Gift from Hometown” quest.

For this quest, you will need to gather five Kurken Fruits.
Select the Kurken map, then fast travel to Kurken Island – Goat Pasture.
Walk to the east of the landmark, and then turn north along the dirt road.

Keep heading north until you reach a fork on the road.

You will find one Kurken Fruit field on each side of the road.
The closest one is on the west side road. The second one, to the east, is slightly more distant.

Collect the Kurken Fruits on the field to clear the quest’s requirement.

Report back to Kilo and give her the Kurken Fruits to complete the quest.

You will then obtain the recipe for Lost Alucard as a reward.

As soon as you return to the Atelier, you will automatically learn the recipe.

Obtaining the Ingredients
Lost Alucard requires Grand Orgen and Black Glitter Stone as its core ingredients.
Black Glitter Stone
You can obtain the Black Glitter Stone along the road to the east of Windle, leading to the Cavern of Insanity.
Collect the boulders with black ores on them. At Gathering Rank 3, you will be able to obtain the Black Glitter Stone.

Synthesizing Lost Alucard
After obtaining the necessary ingredients, return to the Atelier.
Before you synthesize the weapon, create 11 Grand Orgen ingots.

Select the Lost Alucard recipe.
Start from the Effect 2 loop and insert a Black Glitter Stone.

The cursor will then automatically move over to the Effect 1 loop. Insert as many Grand Orgen ingots as possible.
If you already have all the Skill Tree nodes unlocked, then you will be able to add 11 ingots.

After filling out the two core loops, you can synthesize the recipe. The effects can be added later via Item Rebuild.

In order to max out all of Lost Alucard’s effects, you will need these ingredients:
- Grand Orgen (Ice Element level 6 loop).
- Two Black Glitter Stones (Fire Element levels 4 and 6).
- Ingot-category ingredients (Ice Element levels 3 and 5).
- Seven Magical-category ingredients (Fire Element level 5; Air Element levels 4 and 6; Bolt Element level 6; Ice Element level 3).
Since Lost Alucard requires Magical-category ingredients, you can easily max out all loops using Philosopher’s Stones and Olden Philosopher’s Stones.
Once fully rebuilt, Lost Alucard will have these effects:
- Demon Hunter Sword: increases the damage dealt and reduces the wait time for skills according to the Tactics Level.
- Mark of Aggression 6: raises Bos’ Attacker level.

You can use the furnace at the back of the Atelier to reinforce your equipment. This way, you can add Traits, Super Traits, and also boost Lost Alucard’s stats up to the 999 cap.
Best Weapon for Bos
In Atelier Ryza 3, all weapons are standalone recipes, without morphs. This way, all weapons are, in theory, viable options, allowing the players more creative freedom when building their party.
Keep in mind that the earlier weapons will have slightly lower stats, although the difference is only worth a few points.
In Bos’ case, the following weapons are also available to choose from:
| Weapon | Primary Ingredient | Secondary Ingredient | Effect 1 | Effect 2 |
| Onyx Blade | Ingot | (Ore) | Increases physical damage | Increases Attack by 20 |
| Lysil Edge | Startium | Palma Bark | Reduces the wait time for skills | Attacker level up |
| Baron’s Light | Creaminea | Breeze Stone | Increases Attack and critical rate when at full HP | Supporter level up |
| Unfold | Goldoterion | Ancient Sword | Deals additional damage to stunned enemiesSkills can deal additional Stun Gauge damage | Defender level up |
If you decide to go with one of the weapons listed above, look for a loop in their respective recipes that requires Ingot-category ingredients.
Simply follow the synthesis flow all the way up to that loop, and then insert as many Grand Orgen ingots as possible in it.
