Carter is the town’s local pastor who works at the Church. He is dedicated to his faith and the townsfolk, so he keeps the Church open every day even though he gets no salary. Carter is always eager to help anyone in need, such as Cliff.
If you and Carter become friends and his affection is high, he will teach you the recipe for strawberry milk.

Playing House

Go to the Church where you’ll find Carter, Popuri, Stu, and May, who want to play “house”. Popuri is the mother and Carter gets selected as the father. Carter doesn’t like May’s idea and asks you if you could play with the kids instead.
Carter’s Delivery
Date: Wednesdays, any season
Time: 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM
Visit the Church on a Wednesday evening to find Carter, who is excited about something. He tells you he heard a voice saying that good fortune will come to him while he’s inside the church confessional. Zack arrives and informs Carter that the “thing” he wanted has arrived, which makes him even more happy.
Carter’s Secret
Date: Wednesdays, fall season only
Time: 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM
You need to be friends with Carter to trigger this event. Visit the Church on a Wednesday night during fall. Your character will notice that Carter is nowhere to be found, and will enter the unlocked door next to the organ.
You will then find Carter looking for mushrooms behind the church and ask you to keep it a secret. In exchange, he’ll leave the back door open so you can go there and harvest mushrooms anytime.
Customers for Kai
Date: Any date, summer season only
Time: 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Carter is one of the customers who visit Kai’s restaurant during this event.
Visit Kai’s restaurant at Mineral Beach between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Kai tells you he doesn’t have any customers. Popuri shows up with a lot of customers, and now Kai is worried that it’ll be too difficult for him to cook for all of them. You agree to help Kai, and he thanks you for your help.
Note: The day will end when you trigger this event, so finish all your tasks before going to the beach.
