The Cave to Another World is a bonus dungeon only accessible after you beat the game and restore the third Mysterious Pillar in the Shrine of Mysteries. At the end of this dungeon you’ll be able to fight The Almighty.
Preparations
- Be around level 40. You can farm some exp very fast by looking for Metal King Slimes in places like Gröndal.
- Have all four pieces of Saint’s Equipment. Depending on the elemental amulet you use at the end of the Cathedral of Blight, a different path will open for you. Use all four to get the Okeanos Sword, Aeras Shield, Pyros Helm and the Gaia Armor.
- Choose the right skills. Your party should have someone with an AOE heal like Hustle Dance and Multiheal, and also someone with Insulatle. Good damaging skills for the boss fight are Multifist and Sword Dance. A skill to wake up your party is also essential for the boss fight.
- Have one Yggdrasil Leaf on every party member. In this way you can revive anyone during an emergency.
Exploring the Cave to Another World
The Mysterious Pillar you need to restore to enter the cave is under the Shrine of Mysteries. Take the stairs in the corners of the main room.

1st Floor
Enter the cave and walk north at the bifurcation to find a chest with a Seed of Strength. Head back to the bifurcation and take the path east to get to the next floor.

2nd-3rd Floors
These are two linear rooms. Just walk east to get to the stairs, and then follow the pathway north.

4th Floor
This floor looks like a labyrinth. Don’t bother exploring, as there are no treasures here. Walk in either direction all around the edge of the room until you reach the opposite side, then at the bifurcation take the path left and up. Follow it until you find the stairs.

5th Floor
If you inspect the bookshelf you’ll fight a Hexicon. Break the pot inside the house and the barrels outside to get a Mini Medal and a Seed of Strength. Enter the cave and follow the tunnel north until you find the stairs that go down.

6th-7th Floors
Very linear rooms. Just follow the spiral path on the 6th floor and turn east on the bifurcation of the 7th floor.

8th-9th Floors
Turn north at the bifurcation and go down the stairs on the northwestern corner. On the 9th floor, get to the center of the room and take the path north.

10th Floor
Take the path east and turn west on the bifurcation to get a Life Ring. Go back to the start and fall on the tile to the west. Open the chest north of you to get a Sage’s Stone then step on the portal to the south.

Head west from here. Turn north at the bifurcation and then east and you’ll find a lonely gate. Cross it to get to the next floor.

11th Floor
Walk north and get to the cave behind the waterfall. Ignore the first bifurcation and keep going north. On the second one, take the path west and follow it to get to the next floor.

12th Floor
This is a very long but linear path. Follow it until you see the first cave at the northeastern corner. Enter it to find a Mini Medal on the east side of the cave.
Go back and keep following the main path to the west. Open the chest to get a Mad Cap and then enter the cave in front of you.

13th Floor
There are some houses here but you can’t enter them. You can still enter the cave below the second house to save your game. Take the path east and at the split, go down the stairs and enter the house to get a Mini Medal and a Slime Gooniform. Go back to the split and take the stairs up to get to the next floor.

14th Floor
There’s only one hallway and a room left. Cross the bridge and enter the door when you’re ready to fight The Almighty.

The Almighty
Double-check all your gear before starting the fight. You don’t need to heal or restore your MP, as your party will be fully healed during the cutscene. step up when you’re ready and watch the cutscene to start the fight.

The Almighty
12400 hp, can act thrice, can cast Underpants Dance, Lightning Storm, Hellfire, Lullab-Eye, Disruptive Wave, One-Liner and Frigid Ice
This fight is quite harder than Orgodemir. Insulatle is a must, as halving the damage of his breath attacks will allow you to attack more often and heal less. Sometimes he’ll do Underpants Dance or One-Liner and some of your party members will skip a turn. Kabuff, Magic Barrier or Sap are useless in this battle. Ideally, you want to use That Special Summon with Sir Mervyn and then have two party members constantly dealing damage with Multifists or Sword Dance, one member constantly healing your party (it’s a good idea to equip the Mad Cap on this member to halve the MP consumption), and one member either casting Insulatle, healing or attacking as needed. Sometimes RNG won’t be on your side and he’ll cast Lightning Storm twice, which can wipe your party in a single turn. Luckily, if you lose he’ll just heal you up and ask you if you want to fight again. Keep doing this while keeping your party fully healed at the start of every turn and you should be able to beat him.
After beating The Almighty, he’ll congratulate you and teleport you to a place of your choosing.
Rewards for defeating The Almighty
Every time you manage to defeat The Almighty in less than 20 turns, he’ll give you a reward of your choice. You can choose between three different Mysterious Fragments, a Hero’s Heart, Prime Cuts and a Skimpy Nightie.
To defeat him in less than 20 turns you’ll need to be doing 650-700 damage each turn. This is very doable if you’re around level 45-50 and with the best gear you can get at this point of the game.
You’ll need the three Mysterious Fragments to restore the last pillar and unlock the Cave to Yet Another World, so you’ll have to beat him at least three times if you wanna see the last bonus dungeon in the game.
