The Delicious Bait is a morph which requires you to add a Kumine Fruit to the Flour recipe. You can obtain the Flour recipe by buying the book “My First Dessert” from Fressher.
The Delicious Bait is a mandatory item to clear Chapter 3 – Everyone’s Changing, part 5.
You need to meet these requirements in order to proceed:
- Buy the recipe for Flour: As mentioned above, the recipe is in the book “My First Dessert”, which you can acquire at Fressher’s Shop.
- Collect Wheat: At this point in the game, finding Wheat requires a bit of walking around.
- Obtain a Kumine Fruit: You can find the Kumine Fruit in the Sunken Mine or buy it from the grocery store at Kurken Port.
How to Obtain the Delicious Bait Recipe
In order to unlock the Delicious Bait recipe, you need to obtain the Flour recipe first.
Fast travel to Boden District – Fressher’s Shop and buy the book “My First Dessert” from him.
Head back to the Atelier and you will learn the recipes for Flour and Honey.
The Delicious Bait is a recipe morph that requires a Kumine Fruit to be complete.
Gathering the Necessary Ingredients
You need to gather three ingredients: Wheat, any Fuel type ingredient and the Kumine Fruit.
Collecting Wheat
First, you will need to collect Wheat. Although Wheat is relatively easy to find, it does require a bit of luck.
You can obtain Wheat from these wooden boxes at Kurken Port.
It can also be obtained from these wooden boxes at the Secluded Farm.
Use your staff on the boxes and repeat the process until you collect enough wheat. You will need at least three. Keep in mind that the boxes won’t always drop Wheat.
Where to Find the Kumine Fruit
Fast travel to Traveler’s Road and go to the Sunken Mine. Inside, follow the trail and head to the lower level.
Go towards the ruins at the back.
You will find these wooden boxes lying around.
Use the staff on them and you will obtain the Kumine Fruits. Make sure to collect at least three.
Alternatively, you can also buy it from the grocery shop owner at Kurken Port.
Scroll down to the bottom of her list to find the Kumine Fruit. Get at least three.
Synthesizing the Delicious Bait
With all the ingredients in hand, head back to the Atelier. Use the cauldron and select the Flour recipe.
The Recipe loop is located on the left side. This quest does not have a Quality requirement, so feel free to use low quality ingredients.
Insert the Wheat into the Effect 1 loop, then insert a fuel ingredient into the Traits loop. Doing this will unlock the Recipe loop.
Use the Kumine Fruit in the Recipe loop to complete the morph.
Select “Yes” to synthesize the Delicious Bait.
You will obtain two Delicious Baits using the minimum number of ingredients. Repeat this process three times to obtain the amount you need for the quest.
Take the five Delicious Baits to the fisherman at Kurken Port and you will clear Everyone’s Changing 5.
