You can create the Divine Fishing Rod by adding a Stahl Fiber to the Fishing Rod recipe. The Stahl Fiber is a recipe morph in the Alchemy Fibers’ tree.
Before synthesizing the Divine Fishing Rod, you must meet the following requirements:
- Advance the main story: You will only be able to create the Divine Fishing Rod once you gain access to the Ethereal Dragon’s Coffin in Underworld Gate Again, part 2.
- Obtain an Underworld Crystal: The Stahl Fiber recipe morph requires an Underworld Crystal.
- Unlock the Fishing Rod recipe: The Fishing Rod recipe node costs 400 SP in the Skill Tree. This node isn’t mandatory for the main story’s completion.
- Create a Heavenly String: You will also need a Heavenly String to max out the Divine Fishing Rod’s effects. The Heavenly String is another morph in the Alchemy Fibers’ recipe tree.
Obtaining the Underworld Crystal
You can gather Underworld Crystals from the Philuscha at Ethereal Dragon’s Coffin.

The Underworld Crystal is a common drop from all Philuscha monsters.

You can also get an Underworld Crystal using the Golden Axe, or a Woodcutter’s Axe with Gathering Rank 3.
The Underworld Crystal can be obtained from these large purple crystals. You will find them at Ethereal Dragon’s Coffin – Den of the Wise in the Second Residential Area, west of the entrance.

Synthesizing the Divine Fishing Rod
Once you obtain the Underworld Crystal, return to the Atelier. Start by synthesizing the Stahl Fiber.
The Stahl Fiber is the second morph in the Alchemy Fibers’ tree:
- Alchemy Fibers into Heavenly String (requires Angel Silk).
- Heavenly String into Stahl Fiber (requires an Underworld Crystal).

Make sure to also create a few Heavenly String units. You will need them later to upgrade the Divine Fishing Rod’s effects.

Before proceeding, make sure to unlock the Fishing Rod node in the Skill Tree. You will find it towards the bottom-right side.
This node requires 400 SP to unlock.

Next, use the cauldron and select the Fishing Rod recipe. You will need the following ingredients to complete the recipe:
- Tough Log.
- A Lumber-type ingredient.
- Alchemy Fibers (Wind Element level 2 loop).
- Another Lumber-type ingredient (Ice Element level 3 loop).
- A Bug-type ingredient (Ice Element level 4 loop).
- Two additional Bug-type ingredients.
- Stahl Fiber (Fire Element level 3 loop).
Add a Tough Log to the Effect 1 loop.

Insert a Lumber-type ingredient in the Traits loop.

Insert Alchemy Fibers into the Effect 2 loop, which has a Wind Element level 2 requirement.

Proceed to the top-left side of the recipe.
Add a Lumber-type ingredient to the second Effect 2 loop. This loop has an Ice Element level 3 requirement.

Use a Bug-type ingredient in the third Effect 2 loop. Make sure to meet the Ice Element level 4 requirement.

Insert a Bug-type ingredient in the Quality loop.

Add a Bug-type ingredient to Effect 4 loop.

Complete the morph by adding the Stahl Fiber in the Recipe loop, which requires Fire Element level 3.

You can synthesize the recipe, and then level up the effects later with Item Rebuild. Alternatively, you can also synthesize a new one.

In order to max out the Divine Fishing Rod’s effects, you will need the following ingredients:
- Heavenly Strings (Wind Element level 6 loop).
- Additional Heavenly Strings (two Wind Element level 4 loops).
- General Goods-type ingredient (Wind Element level 2 loop).
- A second General Goods-type ingredient (Wind Element level 9 loop).
- Another two General Goods-type ingredients (Ice Element level 3 loops).
- A fifth General Goods-type ingredient (Lightning Element level 3 loop).
- Fishing Rod (Ice Element level 3 loop).
- A second Fishing Rod (Ice Element level 3 loop).
- Magical-type ingredient (Wind Element level 3 loop).

- Add (Threads).
- Add (General Goods).
