In order to synthesize the Duet Solvent Solution EX, you will need a Duet Stock Solvent and a Dark Crystal Fragment.

- Collect Duet Stock Solution: You can collect Duet Stock Solution from the gathering point in Spinel Forest.
- Obtain a Dark Crystal Fragment: You can collect Dark Crystal Fragments in the Nemed region.
You will automatically learn the Duet Solvent Solution EX recipe once you return to one of the Ateliers.
Gathering the Ingredients
The Duet Solvent Solution EX recipe requires two core ingredients. You will need to collect some Duet Stock Solution and a Dark Crystal Fragment.
Duet Stock Solution
Move to the Sardonica region map, then fast travel to Astrad Heights – Spinel Forest.
Head down the wooden ramp near the landmark and you will find the gathering spot for the Duet Stock Solution.
Simply interact with the lake in order to collect the ingredient.
Dark Crystal Fragment
In order to collect the Dark Crystal Fragment, move to the Nemed region map. Fast travel to Nemed Forest – Dragon Tree.
Use the Woodcutter’s Axe on the lavender crystals near the landmark to collect the Dark Crystal Fragments.
Synthesizing the Duet Solvent Solution EX
After collecting the materials, return to the Atelier. Use the cauldron and select the Duet Solvent Solution EX recipe.
Start by inserting the Duet Stock Solution in the central Quality loop. The ingredient will be automatically converted into Duet Stock Solution+.
Move to the Quality loop below it and insert a Dark Crystal Fragment.
These are the only core ingredients in the recipe. You can synthesize it right away in order to save materials.
After obtaining the Duet Solvent Solution EX, fast travel back to Sardonica – Artisans’ Union Headquarters. Head inside the building in order to advance the main story.
