The Embrace of the Mantis King! is a unique Mantis Gauntlet from the Gun Runner’s Arsenal DLC that can be purchased from Mick, who can be found inside the “Mick & Ralph’s” store in Freeside.

Quick tips before you go off to get the weapon:

    • You can circumvent the cost using Ghost Duping. The Ghost Dupe glitch allows you to purchase this weapon (and every other item the merchant offers) for free. To learn more about Ghost Duping, check out our guide here.

Gameplay Tips

  • The slow attack speed and lack of any special bonuses make this weapon a poor choice for most players.
  • The high critical hit damage and chance multiplier can make this weapon somewhat useful for critical hit builds, however, the Two-Step-Goodbye from this same DLC that can be acquired at the Gun Runners is a far better choice, as it has a higher chance to crit and enemies that are killed with a critical hit strike explode, dealing 100 or so splash damage to nearby enemies.
