In order to clear this part, you will need to do the following:
- Synthesize a Woodcutter’s Axe.
- Collect Eiche, Salt Grass, and Eroded Stones.
- Create the materials and build the secret hideout.
The Hideout
After clearing the second chapter, it will be time to turn the old house in the Hidden Clearing into Ryza’s Atelier.
First, you will need to consult with Empel, so head over to his and Lila’s house in the Old Town.
Read through the dialogue, then return to Ryza’s room.
As soon as you enter the room, you will learn the recipes for the hideout’s materials.
Creating a Woodcutter’s Axe
Before getting started, you should synthesize a Woodcutter’s Axe. You will require Eiche, which is also one of the ingredients for the hideout materials.
The Woodcutter’s Axe will be a mandatory tool going forward.
You can buy Eiche from Fressher’s Shop for 10 Cole.
Return to Ryza’s room and synthesize the Woodcutter’s Axe with the Eiche you’ve just bought.
Obtaining the Ingredients
The hideout will only require three ingredients: Eiche, Salt Grass, and Eroded Stones.
Eiche
Equip the Woodcutter’s Axe and use it on any trees, either at Kurken Island or Traveller’s Road.
Collect at least six Eiche units.
Salt Grass
In order to obtain the Salt Grass and the Eroded Stones, you will need to head over to the Shipyard at Traveller’s Road.
For the Salt Grass, equip the Reaper’s Scythe, then use it on the white bushes.
Eroded Stone
After collecting the Salt Grass at the Shipyard, enter the Sunken Mine.
You can obtain Eroded Stones as common drops from the Stone Golems and Rock Puppets.
Alternatively, you can also obtain Eroded Stones by using the staff on the stone pillars at the bottom of the mine.
Synthesizing the Materials
The hideout will need Building Materials, Stone Materials, and Seaweed Soil – five units of each.
Building Material
For the Building Material, you will only need two units of Eiche per synthesis.
Since there is no Quality requirement for this quest, you can simply use the minimum number of ingredients, and also the ones with the lowest Quality.
You will create two units per synthesis, so just repeat the process three times to obtain the five you will need for the quest.
Stone Material
For the Stone Material, you will only need two units of Eroded Stone for each synthesis. Repeat the process from earlier, using the ones with the lowest Quality.
Synthesize the recipe three times to obtain the required five Stone Material units.
Seaweed Soil
For the Seaweed Soil, you will need two units of Salt Grass. Again, follow the same process from earlier and repeat it three times to clear the quest requirement.
Building the Hideout
After obtaining all the necessary materials, return to the Hidden Clearing in Pixie Forest.
Hand over the Seaweed Soil to Klaudia.
Tao will take care of the Building Materials.
Give the Stone Materials to Lent.
Once you are done handing over the materials, read through the dialogue and watch the cutscenes to advance to the next part.
