This part will require you to clear these tasks:
- Complete three normal quests around Kurken Island.
- Synthesize a Soft Rubber Band with at least 50 Quality.
Raising Your Reputation
Spend the free day synthesizing at the Atelier, then fast travel to Old Town and head over to the Valentz Manor.
Klaudia is still keen on joining the party. However, you must earn Lubart’s trust first by helping the villagers around Kurken.
In order to clear this requirement, you will need to complete three normal quests.
You can see the normal quests available in the area by checking the fast travel menu.
Available quests will have a question mark, while reportable quests will have an exclamation mark.
Keep in mind that, while some quests will show up as being available in the fast travel menu, some of them will not show up on the map.
Normal quests are part of the same storyline. Because of this, some quests won’t show up on the map unless you clear the other ones. Unfortunately, the game does not list the requirements for each quest.
Normal quests will show up as question marks on the map.
In the early game, most quests are fairly simple to clear. Some will only require you to deliver certain materials.
Others will be even simpler, without any requirements other than talking to the quest giver.
The game will indicate once you are done with the quests, so don’t worry about tracking them.
Lubart’s First Task – Synthesizing a Soft Rubber Band
Having completed the quests, report back to Lubart. He will then give you the first of three tasks – creating something to fix the leak in the manor’s basement.
Return to the Atelier in order to learn the recipe for the Soft Rubber Band.
You will need to synthesize a Soft Rubber Band with at least 60 Quality, which you can learn how to do here.
Once you are done, give the rubber band to Lubart and advance to the next part.
