In order to create the Fairystone Compass, you will need Scintilla Ore and Lujada’s Fairystones.
Here are the requirements you need to clear:
- Obtain Lujada’s Fairystones: You can gather Lujada’s Fairystones near the Mine Resthouse.
- Collect a Scintilla Ore: You can obtain the Scintilla Ore in the Scintilla Mine.
You will automatically learn the recipe for the Faiyrstone Compass once you return to the Atelier.
Gathering the Ingredients
The Fairystone Compass only requires the Lujada’s Fairystones and Scintilla Ore as core ingredients. You can obtain both materials in the Sardonica region.
Lujada’s Fairystones
For the Lujada’s Fairystones, fast travel to Astrad Heights – Mine Resthouse.
Climb down the ladders to the lowest level. Use the Hammer on the lilac crystals to obtain Lujada’s Fairystones.
Scintilla Ore
In order to collect the Scintilla Ore, fast travel to Scintilla Mine – Inverted Crystal.
Use either the Hammer or the Woodcutter’s Axe on the large boulders to collect Scintilla Ores.
Synthesizing the Fairystone Compass
After collecting the ingredients, return to the Atelier. Use the cauldron and select the Fairystone Compass recipe.
Start by adding the Scintilla Ore to the central Effect 1 loop.
Insert the Lujada’s Fairystones in the Effect 2 loop.
With both core loops taken care of, you can synthesize the recipe in order to save ingredients.
The story will automatically advance once you complete the synthesis.
You will need to synthesize this same recipe for Ryza’s Insight, Part 1 later in the game.
