You’ll need four fragments to restore this pillar. You’ll find them in Palazzo di Bulgio, Providence, Nottagen and the Aeolus Vale. Finding all the pieces will teleport you to Vogograd, where you can continue the main story.
Warning: this guide contains minor spoilers for Dragon Quest VII.
Finding the first fragment
The first fragment is in Palazzo di Bulgio’s basement. To reach the palace you’ll need to unlock the Flying Carpet first. Once you have it, fly to the north of L’Arca and you’ll see the palace across the river.
Note: If you don’t have the Flying Carpet yet, you can check our guide on how to get it!

Enter the main building and head to the kitchen. You’ll find the stairs to the basement there. Enter the basement to find the first Yellow Fragment. There’s also a chest with a Tortoise Shell in the same room.

Finding the second fragment
To find this fragment, first, you need to finish the Providence scenario in the past. Once you do this, you’ll find the same island in the present to the southwest of L’Arca.
Enter Providence and exit through the north to get into the Mountaintop Tunnel. The tunnel layout is the exact same as in the past but without any monsters this time.

Once you’re in the tunnel, get to the third floor. You’ll find the second Yellow Fragment in the northwestern corner.

Finding the third fragment
You can find this fragment soon after reaching Nottagen in the past. You need to restore the Red Pillar from the upper right corner to get here.
Once your party is teleported to Nottagen, follow the main path to the southwest until you see a big hill to your right. Enter it.

This area, called Hill Near Nottagen, is just a big empty space. You’ll find the third Yellow Fragment lying on the floor. Ignore the big crater nearby for now.

Finding the fourth fragment
The last one is accessible much later, after you recruit Aishe and complete the Aeolus Vale scenario in the past. You’ll find the island in the present to the southwest of Providence.
Enter Aeolus Vale town and exit through the north side. Keep following the path north to reach Sanctum of the Cirrus.

Enter the temple and take the stairs at the end of the room. Follow the path and take the stairs in the middle of the pool.

Step on the switch to rotate the wall, then go to the western side of the room and take the first set of stairs.

From here just follow the main path through some rooms and you’ll find the fourth Yellow Fragment in the same place where the Sacred Stone was lying in the past.

You got all the fragments! Now you only have to Zoom to the Shrine of Mysteries and place all the parts on the top right pillar. Restoring it will teleport your party to Vogograd, where you can continue the main quest.
