Figaro is a unique Straight Razor that can be found on Sergio, who is usually located inside the King’s School of Impersonation.
Quick tips before you head off to grab the weapon:
- Sergio provides haircuts. Sergio is the only NPC in the base game that can change the player’s hair, with the only other one being the Autodoc located in the Sink within the Old World Blues DLC. If you don’t want to kill him, you can follow my reverse pickpocketing guide here to get the weapon.
- Killing him won’t make the Kings hostile. Somehow, Sergio is not associated with the faction of the Kings, meaning that you can kill him without making the other Kings hostile.
Acquisition
Start off at the Strip North Gate, located within Freeside.
Go down the street to the northeast.
At the end of the street, you’ll see a building with a large neon sign that says “The King’s” to your right. Enter the building.
Upon entering, you’ll see two doors. Go through the one on the right.
Go to the left.
Immediately take a right and go down the end of the hallway.
Turn left and go to the end of that hallway, then take a left again.
Take the last door on the left.
Inside, you’ll find Sergio, he’s the one with the weapon.
Comparing The Figaro To The Straight Razor
- Figaro deals more damage (8 damage vs 5 damage).
- Figaro deals more critical damage (16 damage vs 10 damage).
- The weapon attacks faster (4.15 attacks/second vs 3.69 attacks/second).
- It has a higher critical hit chance multiplier (4x vs 2x).
- It’s more durable (445 attacks before breaking vs 370 attacks before breaking).
Gameplay Tips
- Despite its low damage, Figaro can dish out an insane DPS thanks to its absurd 4x critical hit chance multiplier. This makes getting a 100% crit chance with the weapon trivial. Check out our critical hit build guide here for more info.
- Make sure to keep weapon repair kits or other straight razors on hand to repair the weapon, as, in practice, it degrades very quickly.
