| Item | Fire Claw |
| Effect | +60 ATK |
| Location | Femiscyra |
You’ll find a Fire Claw hidden in Femiscyra Castle, as well as other ones by doing the optional Pioneer Town sidequest and as a stealable item from a monster. Only Alena can wield it during Chapter 5, but you can also equip one on Psaro after you recruit it in Chapter 6 (see our guide on how to recruit him!).
The Fire Claw in Femiscyra
You need to defeat Baalzack first and get the Magma Staff. To reach Femiscyra, exit Burland, head north and sail eastwards on your ship along the river. Disembark on the south side of the end of the river and head south.
When you reach a narrow passage blocked by rocks, select the Magma Staff from your inventory and use it. It will melt the rocks and open the way to Femiscyra.
Note: you can’t enter Femiscyra during nighttime!

Here in the castle you can find a Mini Medal by breaking some pots on the west side, and a Leather Dress and a Seed of Agility by looking inside the drawers of the queen’s bedroom.

To get the item we’re looking for, walk behind the stairs in the center to access a secret room with a chest. The Fire Claw is located there.

Other places to find a Fire Claw
Quite early in Chapter 5, after Hoffman leaves your party, he’ll start to build a new town where the Desert Bazaar used to be in Chapter 2. You can help Hoffman build the town by recruiting different NPCs, and there’ll be new chests with rewards after you recruit each one.

After Hoffman’s town grows for the fourth time, walk to the eastern side of town to find a set of stairs that go underground. Get inside and break the barrels to find a Fur Coat. Get the next stairs to go deeper into the basement.

From here walk all the way north and then east to get to the last level. You’ll see a small pool of poison with a spark shining in the middle of it. Check the spark to find the Fire Claw.

The last way of finding a Fire Claw is by using Torneko to steal items from an Ogre monster on Azimuth island.
Get outside Azimuth town, put Torneko on your party and walk around or use his Whistle skill to call monsters. Whenever an Ogre shows up, kill all the other monsters and defend every turn until Torneko decides to steal an item from him. When he does it, he’ll steal a Fire Claw.
Those are all the ways you can find a Fire Claw in this game! The first one in particular will be a big power spike for Alena, as she probably doesn’t have access to better weapons at that point in the story.
