You need three fragments to restore this pillar. You can find them in the present time in Al-Balad, Aeolus Vale and Vogograd. Restoring this pillar will teleport you to Buccanham, where you can continue the main story.
Warning: this guide contains minor spoilers for Dragon Quest VII.
Finding the first fragment
You can get the first fragment after having the Flying Carpet. Once you have it, Zoom to Al-Balad and fly to the southwest. You’ll see a Sphynx across the river. Enter there.
Note: If you don’t have the Flying Carpet yet, you can check our guide on how to get it!
Enter inside the Sphinx through the main gate and head up the stairs. On the third floor, exit through the southern door and follow the path to get into the room with the first Blue Fragment.
Finding the second fragment
You can find the second fragment in Sanctum of the Cirrus after you recruit Aishe and complete the Aeolus Vale scenario in the past. You’ll find the island in the present to the southwest of Providence.
Enter Aeolus Vale town and exit through the north side. Keep following the path north to reach Sanctum of the Cirrus.
Inside the temple, head to the back of the room and enter the central door, beside the nun.
Head to the lower right corner of the room. You’ll find the second Blue Fragment here, surrounded by jars and chests. You should also open the chests to get a Mini Medal and a Seed of Life.
Finding the third fragment
You can find the last fragment after you complete the Vogograd scenario in the past. To access the island in the present, you can fly there or Zoom to the Temple Palace in Al-Balad and take the northeastern bridge.
Enter Vogograd, and after a brief cutscene, head to the two-story house on the northeast. Talk to the kid guarding the door and answer with “Yes”. He’ll let you enter the basement.
Inside the basement you’ll see many children, they’re trying to lift a stone slab. Answer “Yes” when they ask you for help, and after lifting the slab, one of them will reward you with the third Blue Fragment.
You got all the fragments now! You can Zoom to the Shrine of Mysteries and place them all on the last Blue Pillar, in the lower right corner. Doing this will teleport you to Buccanham, the last undiscovered island in the game.
After this, all the pillars on the Shrine of Mysteries should be restored, but the main story continues, and there are still many Mysterious Fragments to find!
