You’ll find the five fragments to restore the last Green Pillar in La Bravoure, Providence, Nottagen, Hubble and the Roamer Encampment. Restoring this pillar will teleport you to Aeolus Vale, where you can continue the main story.
Warning: this guide contains spoilers for Dragon Quest VII.
Finding the first fragment
When you get the Flying Carpet in La Bravoure, the first thing you should do is fly east, across the river, and enter the Tombe des Héros Inconnus.

You’ll find the first Green Fragment here, and you’ll also learn about Sir
Mervyn, a character you must recruit later.

Note: you can check our guide on how to get the Flying Carpet!
Finding the second fragment
You’ll find the second fragment after you help Providence in the past. After you come back to the present, you’ll find the newly risen island to the southwest of L’Arca.
The town of Providence is in the same place as it was in the past. Enter it and exit through the north to go through the Mountaintop Tunnel.

The path through the mountain is the same as in the past, but you won’t have roaming monsters now. You’ll find a man on the fourth floor. Speak to him and he’ll join you.

Take the man to the church at the top of the mountain. He’ll leave your party and stay there. Enter the room inside the church to find the second Green Fragment inside a chest.

Finding the third fragment
Recommended level: 28
You’ll need to fight three bosses in Notaggen to get this fragment.
Once you reach the town, you’ll have to fight three Babygoyles at the entrance. Defeat them and go to the last house in town, which is blocked by a Rockbomb.

Enter the well at the northwestern corner and speak with the nun. The Rockbomb will be gone after this.

Enter the mansion and head to the second floor to start a boss fight.

Moostapha
1000 hp, can cast Brutal Hit
He only has physical attacks, so cast Buff/Kabuff on your party a couple of times. He’s also vulnerable to Sap, so remember to cast it twice on him.Keep attacking him and healing your party accordingly, and defend whenever he saves strength for the next hit. He should fall in a few turns.
After you defeat him, open the drawer in the room to get the Sulkk Key.

Exit Nottagen and head west to reach the Pillar of Sulkk. Use the key and fight a Forky Pig to get inside.

Head to the stairs, exit through the south door and take the northeastern stairs down. Press the switch there and follow the path to reach the back side of the second floor.

Take the stairs up on the western side, and head to the northeastern corner of this floor to find the next stairs. Avoid the damaging tiles on the path or cast Safe Passage.

On this floor, follow the main path without falling down until you reach the next stairs. You can detour by taking the path below the bridge to find a Dream Blade.

On this floor, cast Safe Passage and walk straight north to find the stairs to the next floor. From here you only have to press all the switches in the room to reach the top of the tower.

Once at the top, you’ll fight three Babygoyles and then you’ll have a boss fight.

Sulkk
1350hp, can cast Wind Sickles, Chilly Breath and Inferno
Cast Insulatle as soon as the battle starts, to protect your party from his two breath attacks. Magic Barrier is also useful if someone in your party has it.Any party member who learned Dragon Slash should use that ability to attack Sulkk. Otherwise, just use normal attacks while healing your party until he falls down.
After this, return to the present and visit Nottagen, but you’ll find out the town is in ruins. Return to the past and head to the well on the northeastern corner of the town to find a new dungeon.

Head to the eastern side of the floor, ignore the first path north and take the second one, following the retreating roots.

Again, follow the path east, ignoring the first entrance and going through the second one, where the roots are retreating. Go down the ramp and follow the roots for two rooms more.

You’ll reach a cave full of Writing Roots and a giant plant in the middle. Interact with the plant to start a boss fight.

Malign Vine
1300hp, can cast Fizzle, Dazzleflash, Sweet Breath and Venom Mist.
The Malign Vine can inflict different status effects on your party. Give the Staff of Salvation or the Salvation Stone to someone, so you can heal your party even if you’re fizzled. Also each party member should have at least one Antidotal Herb with them.Focus on the two Writing Roots first and then cast Sap twice on the Malign Vine. Their actual physical attacks don’t hit that hard, so you can keep healing your party just with items if needed.
After defeating the Malign Vine, you’ll get the third Green Fragment!
Finding the fourth fragment
You’ll find this piece after helping Hubble in the past. You’ll find the island in the present time by sailing to the southwest of El Ciclo.
Head to the Grand Conjuratorium, the big academy on the southern side of the island, and enter the main room on the first floor.

You’ll need to do a cross pattern in this room, starting on the western side, at the wizard statue, then exiting through the eastern opening, and then going from the north opening to the south. If you do it correctly, you’ll unlock a path to the staircase in the center.

Go down the stairs to find a room with a Mini Medal and the fourth Green Fragment.

Finding the Fifth Fragment
Aishe will give you this fragment after she joins your party. To get her, you’ll need to clear up the Providence, Hubble and Notaggen main quests.
After doing them, Maribel will get a message from her family, and she’ll leave your party. Head to Pilchard Bay and talk to the Hero parents, to find out the Roamers are back.

Zoom to the Dig Site and walk southwest from there to find the encampment. Talk to everyone here and then talk to the man guarding the north tenth.

Talk to everyone in the tenth, and when Aishe goes away, leave the encampment from the south side.

Head west and enter the Beach Near the Altar of the Almighty. Talk to Aishe and then return to the north tent on the encampment. After some cutscenes, she’ll join your party and give you the last Green Fragment.

Now that you have all the fragments, you can Zoom to the Shrine of Mysteries and place them all on the last Green Pillar. This will teleport you to the Aeolus Vale, where you can continue the main story.
