In order to synthesize the Glorious Oil, you will need a Fuel Coconut and a Natural Oil.
You will also need to clear the following requirement in order to proceed:
- Synthesize a Grass Sickle: You will need the Grass Sickle to obtain the Natural Oil.
Gathering the Ingredients
The two mandatory ingredients for this synthesis are available at the Schirm Marsh.
Fast travel to Valley of Winds – Schirm Marsh. You will be able to obtain the Fuel Coconut from the coconuts scattered around the marsh.
Alternatively, you can also obtain it from the trees with red fruits.
Use the staff on these trees to gather Fuel Coconuts.
You will also be able to obtain Natural Oil from these same trees, by switching to the Grass Sickle.
The Glorious Oil recipe also requires a Gemstone-type ingredient. For this one, fast travel to the Sunken City of Stars – Stargazing Lower Town.
Equip the Woodcutter’s Axe and use it on the large yellow crystals to collect a Star Fragment.
Synthesizing the Glorious Oil
After collecting all ingredients, return to the Atelier. Use the cauldron and select the Glorious Oil recipe.
Start off by using the Fuel Coconut in the central Effect 1 loop.
Insert the Natural Oil in the Traits loop to the right.
Finish the recipe off by inserting the Star Fragment in the Quality loop to the left.
Once you add all three ingredients, use the “Synthesize” command to complete the recipe.
After you obtain the Glorious Oil, return to Ashra-am Baird – Rauch Artisan District. Use the Glorious Oil on the southern gate in order to advance the main story.
Following a cutscene, Serri will join your party.
