How to Create the Harnal Ring in Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key

In order to create the Harnal Ring, you will need to morph the Grand Orgen recipe by adding an Eternal Crystal.

Here are the requirements you will have to meet:

Unlock the Grand Orgen recipe: You can find the node for the Grand Orgen recipe on the top side of the Skill Tree.
Buy Eternal Crystals from Romy: The Eternal Crystal can only be obtained from Romy’s shop in the Cleria region.
Synthesize at least 10 Grand Orgen ingots: You will need additional ingots to stack up stats in the Harnal Ring.

Before proceeding, make sure you have the Grand Orgen recipe unlocked in the Skill Tree.

Obtaining the Ingredients

Aside from the regular Grand Orgen ingredients, you will also need the Eternal Crystal.

Fast travel to Sardonica – Marmo Square. You will find Romy west of the landmark.

Talk to her and select the “Coin Exchange” option.

Select “Eternal Vow” from the list, which you will be able to obtain in exchange for 5 Gold Coins.

Return to the Atelier once you have all the ingredients, then select the Grand Orgen recipe.

Start from the Effect 2 loop and insert Septrin into it.

Add a Rainbow Gemstone to the Effect 1 loop, which requires Ice Element level 3.

Continue to the loops on the left side. Insert an Elixir-category ingredient in the Traits loop.

Add a Rainbow Gemstone to the second Effect 1 loop, which has an Ice Element level 4 requirement.

Continue to the loop on the top-left. Insert a Rainbow Gemstone in the third Effect 1 loop, which also has an Ice Element level 4 requirement.

Add an Elixir-category ingredient to the fourth Effect 1 loop. This loop requires Ice Element level 5.

Continue to the Recipe loop and insert the Eternal Crystals. This loop requires Ice Element level 4.

Do not synthesize the recipe right away.

In the newly-morphed Harnal Ring recipe, select the Effect 1 loop. Add as many Grand Orgen ingots as possible to this loop.

You can now synthesize the recipe, and then use the Item Rebuild option to add the effects later.

Maxing out the Harnal Ring loops will require these ingredients:

Two Grand Orgen ingots (Fire Element levels 3 and 10).
10 Jewel-category ingredients (Air Element levels 2, 3, and 15; Bolt Element levels 5 and 6; Fire Element levels 5, 10, and 11; Ice Element levels 2 and 3).
Five Magical-category ingredients (Air Element levels 2 and 6, Bolt Element level 5, Fire Element level 4, Ice Element level 4).
Two Fairy Horn Adornments (Air Element level 4).

The Harnal Ring will have the following effects once all its loops are filled:

Hero’s Soul: increases the CC gained by skills and the damage dealt by items.
Extreme Concentration: boosts the critical rate for items and increases the damage dealt by critical hits.
Core Overflow: increases the damage dealt by items and gains additional CC whenever you defeat an enemy.
Transcendent Spirit: reduces the wait time for items and deals additional damage when exploiting an enemy’s elemental weakness.

You can also add other Traits and Super Traits, as well as boost the Harnal Ring’s stats up to the 999 cap, by using the Atelier’s furnace.
