You can get a jar of honey by collecting it from your farm’s beehive. The beehive will only appear on the apple tree once you’ve attracted bees to your farm. You can sell each jar of honey for 50g, but there is a way to increase its price.

Attracting Bees to Your Farm

Plant at least one 3×3 square of flowers to attract bees to your farm. You can buy flower seeds from Won at the inn. His shop is open daily from 1 PM-4 PM.

You can plant any flower to attract the bees. Since Won sells a variety of flower seeds for different seasons, make sure you plant a flower seed for the current season. If you plant the wrong seed for the current season, the plant will wither and die.

Note: Won will sell you the Moon Drop Flower seeds once you’ve seen Karen’s Blue Heart Event.

Once the flowers bloom, the bees will come to your farm and build a beehive on your apple tree. Press the X button while facing the beehive to get one jar of honey per day. You can sell each jar of honey for 50g.

Note: You can still harvest honey even if you don’t have flowers anymore, even in winter. The flowers are only required for the bees to move to your farm.

How to Raise the Honey’s Selling Price

Give Louis a jar of honey to increase its selling price. You can find him in the Woodcutter’s House, located southeast of your farm. Exit your farm to the south and turn right to find his house.

After you give him honey, he will come to your farm and inform you that the bees are a rare species. As a result, the selling price of honey will now increase from 50g to 60g.

Uses of Honey

You can use honey as an extra ingredient in many recipes, such as cookies and cakes. It also makes a great gift for the townspeople, as many of them are fond of honey.
