The Jewels of Truth are collectible items in Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town. You can’t sell these jewels and have no worth on their own, making them useless. Once you’ve collected all the jewels, it becomes the Gem of Truth.
You can store the Jewels of Truth in the shelves that you can purchase from the TV Shopping Network.
Jewel of Truth Locations
There are nine jewels hidden in the following places in the game:
- The Doghouse
- The Stable
- Buy one from Won
- Exchanging medals at the Horse Races
- The library
- Lamp Post between Rose Square and the Church
- The Town Cottage
- The Mountain Cottage
- Mayor Thomas’s house
The Doghouse
Check the roof of the doghouse on your farm to find one Jewel of Truth.
The Stable
Check the water tank inside the stable to find another Jewel of Truth.
Buy one from Won
Go to Zack’s house at Mineral Beach to find Won. You can buy one jewel from him for 50,000G.
Exchanging medals at the Horse Races
You can earn medals by betting at the races during the Horse Race in spring and fall seasons. Get 1000 medals and exchange them for a Jewel of Truth from Mayor Thomas.
The Library
Go to the library’s second floor. You’ll find three bookshelves in the middle of the room. Check the bookshelf furthest to the right to find a Jewel of Truth.
Lamp Post between Rose Square and the Church
You can find a lamp post between the path from Rose Square and the town’s church. Examine the lamp post to find a Jewel of Truth.
The Town Cottage
You need to purchase the town cottage from Gotz to find this jewel. Wait until the New Year and play the New Year’s Game Show on the TV. Win the mini-game to receive a Jewel of Truth.
The Mountain Cottage
This is the hardest Jewel of Truth to collect. You need to have the mountain cottage, which is given to you by your spouse after being married to them for 50 years. Examine the calendar inside the cottage to get the Jewel of Truth.
Mayor Thomas’s House
Bring all 8 Jewels of Truth with you and check the refrigerator in Mayor Thomas’s house to find the last jewel.
Gem of Truth
After collecting the last Jewel of Truth inside Mayor Thomas’s house, he will exchange the Jewels of Truth for the Gem of Truth. You can use the Gem of Truth like a tool to see your total stamina and fatigue levels and how much you have left.
The Gem of Truth is also useful when going deep in the mines or when working late at night. You can avoid fainting by using the Gem of Truth to monitor your stamina and fatigue levels carefully.
