Black Heart Event
Requirement:
- Karen is at black heart level or higher
- An empty tool slot in your rucksack
On a Wednesday or Friday, visit the Supermarket between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Karen will welcome you to Mineral Town and ask if you need any help. She will also offer you a bag of grass seeds.

- “No problem.”: No effect.
Purple Heart Event
Requirement:
- Karen is at purple heart level or higher
- Must have seen the black heart event
Go to the Supermarket on a Monday, Thursday, or Saturday between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Karen and her mother Sasha are arguing about whose gift is better. They will ask for your opinion.
Responses:

- “Pink Cat Seeds.”: -2000 affection points
Blue Heart Event
Requirement:
- Karen is at blue heart level or higher
- Have the largest rucksack upgrade and a free item slot
- Must have seen the purple heart event
Go to the Supermarket on a Wednesday or Friday, between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
To trigger this event, you must have a free item slot in your rucksack. Karen will ask you to pick up a special wine from Aja Winery. When you return, she will give you a bottle of wine as a gift.

Yellow Heart Event
Requirement:
- Karen is at a yellow heart level or higher
- Must have seen all the other heart events
Go to the Supermarket on a Monday, Thursday, or Saturday, between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Karen needs someone to taste her cooking, and Jeff suggests you do it, knowing it would taste bad.

Rival Heart Events
To view rival heart events, a girl’s affection level towards you must be lower than the event you are trying to view. If you raise a girl’s affection levels too high, you won’t see any of the rival events.
Black Rival Heart Event
- Location: Exiting the Spring Mine (any season)
- When: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, it must be a sunny day
- Time: 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Rick becomes upset about not hearing anything from his father since he left. Karen defends Rick’s father, saying he only left to find Lillia a cure.
Important Note: This event will not trigger if you are holding something in your hand.
Blue Rival Heart Event
- Location: Mineral Forest (any season except spring)
- When: Monday or Sunday, it must be a sunny day
- Time: 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
When Rick and Karen reminisce about their childhood, Rick remembers a memory of Karen that makes her angry. Karen walks away mad and Rick does not understand why.
Important note: This event only triggers when you exit Gotz’s house or enter the forest from the northeastern path.
Green Rival Heart Event
- Location: Exiting the Spring Mine (any season)
- When: Wednesday or Friday, it must be a sunny day and its Year 2 or later
- Time: 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
A wild dog almost attacked Karen, but Rick saved her. Rick gets wounded, and Karen worries about him. She thanks Rick for helping her.
Orange Rival Heart Event
- Location: Poultry Farm (any season except winter)
- When: Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday, must be a sunny day and its Year 4 or later
- Time: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Rick and Karen are talking about Lillia’s health. Lillia arrives and asks them when they will get married.
Important note: This event will only trigger after Popuri has married either you or Kai. Seven days after viewing this event, Rick and Karen will get married.
