Comparing the Li’l Devil To The 12.7mm Pistol

  • The Li’l Devil deals slightly more damage (45 damage vs 40 damage).
  • The Li’l Devil deals also slightly more critical damage (45 critical damage vs 40 critical damage).
  • It fires faster (3.25 shots/second vs 2.75 shots/second).
  • It has a higher critical hit chance multiplier (2x vs 1x).
  • It also has a lower spread (0.9 vs 1.1).
  • It’s far more durable (595 shots before breaking vs 395 shots before breaking).
  • It takes 2 fewer AP to fire in VATS (15 AP to fire vs 17 AP to fire).
  • It’s a holdout weapon, meaning you can sneak it into casinos without the need for any Sneak skill.
    • There seems to be a bug that makes it impossible to sneak the gun into a casino if the player’s Sneak skill is too high (50 or above). The only way to fix this bug is through modding the game on the PC version.

Gameplay Tips

  • If you want to kill someone in a casino, but you aren’t sure of your sneaking abilities, this gun is by far the best choice, as it deals far more damage than any other holdout weapon.
  • Its high damage and 2x critical hit chance allow the gun to be moderately useful in a critical hit build, check out our critical hit build guide here.
