Introduction:
The Liquid Metal King Sword is obtained by reaching the 5th floor of Mortamor’s Dreadlair. It’s inside a chest near the end of the area before the inner sanctum. It is extremely powerful with +130 attack bonus and +40 style bonus, while also being very versatile as it can be equipped on every character.
Where to find the Metal King Sword:
The only Metal King Sword is on the 5th floor of Mortamor’s Dreadlair in the Dread Realm. This is the last dungeon in the main game not including post-game content. To reach there, go to the dread realm and then zoom to the Prison of Sorrow, then head north until you reach it.
Once you reach the 5th floor, head immediately south until you come through a door. In the northeast there is a chest with a copy of Dragonic Diligence. From there you can head through the central door to progress. The lightning flashes will reveal the walls. Head west following the path.
When you come across a split in the path, you can head east first to find 3 chests with a mini medal, a mimic that drops a seed of life, and a princess robe. After that return to the spilt and head back south and then west, following that until you reach another spilt.
Head east and you’ll find a chest containing the Metal King Sword! From there you can head back to the split and through the door to finish the dungeon.
Why you should use the Metal King Sword:
The Metal King Sword is a very powerful weapon with an attack bonus of +130 and a style bonus of +40. Its greatest asset is its versatility, due to it being able to be equipped to every character. It’s a great asset worthy of being picked up, useful even during the post-game content.
