In order to create the Master Bug Net, you will need a Queen Spider Web.

Make sure to clear these requirements first:

1. Raise your Gathering Rank: You will need Gathering Rank 3 in order to obtain the Queen Spider Web.
2. Unlock the Bug Net recipe: You will need 400 SP to unlock the Bug Net node in the Skill Tree. This node isn’t mandatory for the main story’s completion.

Obtaining a Queen Spider Web

You will find the Queen Spider Web around some of the ruins. Fast travel to Dragonborne Valley – Magical Hidden Village.

Collect the spider webs you find around the village to obtain the Queen Spider Web.

Alternatively, you can also obtain the Queen Spider Web at the Ancient Mana Workshop.

Fast travel to Ancient Mana Workshop – Fire People’s Village. Collect the spider webs near the entrance to obtain the Queen Spider Web.

With the Queen Spider Web in hand, return to the Atelier.

Synthesizing the Master Bug Net

Before getting started, make sure you already have the Bug Net recipe. The node is located towards the bottom-right of the Skill Tree and costs 400 SP.

The Master Bug Net requires the following ingredients:

• Tough Log
• Two units of Alchemy Fibers.
• Gas-type ingredient.
• Another Gas-type ingredient (Wind Element level 2 loop).
• Threads-type ingredient (Ice Element level 2 loop).
• Queen Spider Web (Lightning Element level 3 loop).

Select the Bug Net recipe from the cauldron’s list. Insert Alchemy Fibers in the Effect 2 loop.

Use a Tough Log in the Effect 1 loop.

Insert a Gas-type ingredient in the Effect 3 loop. This loop requires Wind Element level 2.

Continue to the left side of the recipe and add Alchemy Fibers to the Effect 3 loop.

Insert a Thread-type ingredient in the second Traits loop. You will need Ice Element level 2 for this loop.

Use a Gas-type ingredient in the Effect 4 loop.

Complete the morph by adding a Queen Spider Web to the Recipe loop. This loop has a Lightning Element level 3 requirement.

You can now synthesize the recipe, without adding the effects. You will be able to do that later.

In order to unlock all the Master Bug Net effects, you can use the Item Rebuild option. As an alternative, you can synthesize a new Master Bug Net from scratch.

The Master Bug Net requires the following ingredients in order to max out all loops:

• Queen Spider Web (Lightning Element Level 3 loop)
• Another Queen Spider Web (Lightning Element Level 6 loop).
• A third Queen Spider Web (Lightning Element Level 9 loop).
• A Bug Net (Wind Element Level 2 loop).
• A second Bug Net  (Wind Element Level 3 loop).
• A third Bug Net (Wind Element Level 4 loop).
• Gas-type ingredient (Fire Element Level 3 loop).
• Another Gas-type ingredient (Wind Element Level 4 loop).
• A third Gas-type ingredient (Wind Element Level 9 loop).
• A fourth Gas-type ingredient (Lightning Element Level 9 loop).
• A bug-type ingredient (Fire Element Level 2 loop).
• A second bug-type ingredient (Fire Element Level 3 loop).
• A third bug-type ingredient (Fire Element Level 9 loop).
• A fourth bug-type ingredient (Lightning Element Level 3 loop).

Once complete, the Master Bug Net will have the following effects:

• Expert Bug Catching (Gathering Rank 3).
• Gathering Up L.
• Add (Threads).
• Add (General Goods).
