In order to create the Master Catcher’s Net, you will need to morph the Catcher’s Net recipe by adding a Queen Spider Web.

You will need to meet the following requirements in order to complete this synthesis:

1. Raise your Gathering Rank: You will need to unlock the Gathering Rank 2 nod in the Skill Tree.
2. Obtain a Queen Spider Web: You can find the Queen Spider Web to the east of Sardonica.
3. Collect an Arbor Ivy: You will also need an Arbor Ivy for the Catcher’s Net recipe.
4. Synthesize Alchemy Fibers: The Catcher’s Net recipe requires one unit of Alchemy Fibers.

Collecting the Ingredients

You will need multiple Queen Spider Webs, as well as an Arbor Ivy.

Queen Spider Web Location

You will find the Queen Spider Web at the Fairystone Cargo Road, east of Sardonica. 

Make sure to collect plenty of Queen Spider’s Webs, as the Master Catcher’s Net requires quite a few.

Take the city’s eastern exit and head over to the bridge. You will find a Queen Spider Web near the fourth lamp pole on the left side of the bridge.

For the next gathering spots, fast travel to Fairystone Cargo Road – Glasswork Building.

You will find a Queen Spider Web near the wood fences to the southeast of the building.

Walk downhill and then continue to the west of the Glasswork Building. You will eventually arrive at a ladder on a rock ledge.

Climb up the ladder, then complete the jumping puzzle to the top of the ledge.

At the top of the ledge, walk all the way to the northern end. You will find a Queen Spider’s Web near the treasure chest.

As an alternative, you can also fast travel to Nemed Forest – Dragon Tree. You can obtain Queen Spider’s Webs from the spider webs around the area. However, these are slightly trickier to find.

If you’ve already synthesized the Silent Sickle, you can use it on the bushes around Nemed to obtain Queen Spider’s Webs as well.

Arbor Ivy

You can obtain the Arbor Ivy from the trees around the Sardonica region. Use a Grass Sickle with Gathering Rank 2 or higher.

Synthesizing the Master Catcher’s Net

After collecting all the ingredients, return to the Atelier and select the Catcher’s Net recipe.

The Master Catcher’s Net morph requires a minimum of 100 Quality. Make sure to meet this requirement before getting to the Recipe loop.

Start the recipe by inserting the Alchemy Fibers in the Effect 2 loop.

Add a Tough Log to the Effect 1 loop, which has an Ice Element Level 3 requirement. Move to the loops on the top side of the recipe.

Insert a Marine-category ingredient in the Traits loop. This loop has an Ice Element Level 3 requirement.

Use another Marine-category ingredient in the Quality loop.

Your recipe must meet the 100 Quality requirement by this point, or you won’t be able to move on. If you do not meet the requirement, continue to fill this Quality loop.

Add the Arbor Ivy to the second Effect 1 loop, which has an Ice Element Level 4 requirement.

Use a Tough Log in the third Effect 1 loop.

Add the Queen Spider Web to the Recipe loop in order to complete the morph. This loop requires Fire Element Level 3.

You can synthesize the Master Catcher’s Net right away, without filling out its loops. You will be able to add the effects later, via Item Rebuild.

In order to max out the Master Catcher’s Net loops, you will need these ingredients:

• Two Queen Spider’s Webs (Fire Element Level 5 loops).
• A third Queen Spider’s Web (Lightning Element Level 3 loop).
• A fourth Queen Spider’s Web (Lightning Element Level 4 loop).
• A Marine-category ingredient (Ice Element Level 2 loop).
• A second Marine-category ingredient (Ice Element Level 3 loop).
• Another two Marine-category ingredients (Ice Element Level 6 loops).
• A Bug-category ingredient (Wind Element Level 3 loop).
• A second Bug-category ingredient (Wind Element Level 4 loop).
• A third Bug-category ingredient (Wind Element Level 5 loop).
• A fourth Bug-category ingredient (Wind Element Level 6 loop).
• Catcher’s Net (Ice Element Level 5 loop).

Keep in mind that the Master Catcher’s Net must have at least 300 Quality to unlock all effect loops.

Once complete, the Master Catcher’s Net will have the following effects:

• Masterful Bug Catcher (Gathering Rank 3).
• Gathering Up XL.
• Add (Ore).
• Add (General Goods).
