Thomas is Mineral Town’s mayor and is the first character that you will meet in the game when you arrive on the farm. He handles and organizes most of the festivals that occur in the game. Mayor Thomas is a well-loved character in the game, and he often visits other villagers when he has the time.

When you exit your house on the second of winter, Mayor Thomas will arrive and ask you to get him something. He will be back at 7:00 PM to collect it. He will ask for any of the following items:

The trick here is to save your game before going outside your house. If Mayor Thomas asks for something difficult, like golden eggs or the AEPFE apple, reload your game and try again. The easiest items to get are the black and white grasses.
If you’ve provided him with the item he asks for, Mayor Thomas will give you a piece of golden lumber. Do not display this on your farm, as all the villagers will instantly hate you and they’ll lose affection. You should just store this inside your shelf to avoid any negative reaction from the villagers.
Customers for Kai

Visit Kai’s restaurant at Mineral Beach between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Kai tells you he doesn’t have any customers. Popuri shows up with a lot of customers, and now Kai is worried that it’ll be too difficult for him to cook for all of them. You agree to help Kai, and he thanks you for your help.
Important Note: The day will end when you trigger this event, so finish all your tasks before going to the beach.
