You can synthesize the Mirage Loupe by adding a Saint’s Diamond to the Glass Flower’s recipe. This will require you to morph other two different recipes.
Here are the requirements you must meet in order to synthesize the Mirage Loupe:
- Synthesize the Saint’s Diamond: The Saint’s Diamond is a recipe morph, which starts with the Polish Powder.
- Unlock the Glass Flower recipe: the Mirage Loupe is also a recipe morph. You need to obtain the book Common Paper by completing the quest “Replacement Crystal”.
Collecting the Ingredients
You need to morph the Spirinite recipe into the Saint’s Diamond. This process starts with the Polish Powder recipe. The Saint’s Diamond morph requires a Holy Arbor Crystal.
You will also need to obtain the Mirage Loupe recipe, which is another recipe morph. This process starts with the Zettel recipe.
Gathering the Holy Arbor Crystal for the Saint’s Diamond
The Saint’s Diamond is the fourth recipe morph in the line, starting with the Polish Powder. You will automatically unlock the recipe during Taking the First Step – part 4.
These are all the morphs you need to complete:
- Polish Powder into Pearl Crystal (requires a Shell Pearl).
- Pearl Crystal into Amberlite (requires an Amber Crystal).
- Amberlite into Spirinite (requires Emerald Grass)
- Spirinite into Saint’s Diamond (requires a Holy Arbor Crystal)
In order to obtain the Holy Arbor Crystal, fast travel to Pynnor Tower – Sanctuary Garden.
Equip the Reaper’s Scythe and use it on the Holy Arbor logs you find outside.
The Holy Arbor Crystal is a common drop from these logs.
Synthesize a Saint’s Diamond for the Mirage Loupe.
Obtaining the Mirage Loupe’s Recipe
First, you will need to unlock the Zettel recipe, which requires the book Common Paper.
The book is a reward for completing Pat’s first quest, “Replacement Crystal”. You will unlock it at Old Town – Near the Fountain.
After obtaining the recipe, complete the following morphs:
- Zettel into Traveller’s Water Orb (requires Foamy Water).
- Traveller’s Water Orb into Delphi Rose Incense (requires a Rosen Leaf).
- Delphi Rose Incense into Glass Flower (requires a Roteswasser Tonic).
You will find the Roteswasser Tonic at Maple Delta – Fragrant Forest. Head over to the water gathering point on the north of the map to obtain it.
Obtaining a Fairy Segment
If you want to unlock all of the Mirage Loupe’s effects, you will also need a Fairy Segment.
Fast travel to Pixie Forest – Arbor Ruins. Head over to the east side of the map.
The Fairy Segment is a drop from the Elder Fairy. You will find her right at the center of the map.
Like all large monsters, the Elder Fairy will not attack you.
Defeat her to obtain the Fairy Segment.
Synthesizing the Mirage Loupe
Return to the Atelier, use the cauldron and select the Glass Flower recipe from the list.
You will need the following ingredients to synthesize the Mirage Loupe:
- A Roteswasser Tonic.
- A Flower-type ingredient (requires Ice Element Level 3).
- A Plant-type ingredient (requires Ice Element Level 3).
- A second Flower-type ingredient.
- The Saint’s Diamond (requires Ice Element level 3).
Start by inserting the Roteswasser Tonic into the Effect 1 loop.
Add the Flower-type ingredient into the second Effect 1 loop. You will need Ice Element Level 3 to unlock the next loop.
Use the Plant-type ingredient in the third Effect 1 loop. Again, you will need Ice Element Level 3 to unlock the next loop.
Add the other Flower-type ingredient to the fourth Effect 1 loop.
Insert the Saint’s Diamond into the Recipe loop to complete the morph. Once again, this loop requires Ice Element level 3.
Synthesize the recipe to obtain the Mirage Loupe without all the effects.
You can use the Item Rebuild function to add all effects.
Alternatively, you can synthesize a new one from scratch with all effects. However, this option is much more difficult.
Creating a Mirage Loupe with all the Best Gathering Effects
The Mirage Loupe has four effects in total:
- Better Materials XL.
- Special Materials XL.
- Trait Level Up XL.
- Eye for Materials.
In order to unlock all effects, you will need the following ingredients:
- Glass Flower (requires Ice Element Level 4).
- A Mystery-type ingredient (requires Wind Element Level 6).
- A Metal-type ingredient (requires Lightning Element Level 5).
- Another Metal-type ingredient (requires Ice Element Level 7).
- A Saint’s Diamond (requires Wind Element Level 6).
- Fairy Segment.
- A second Saint’s Diamond.
- Another Mystery-type ingredient (requires Fire Element Level 6).
- A third Metal-type ingredient.
- A second Glass Flower (requires Ice Element Level 10).
The Effect 1 loop, for Better Materials XL, is on the top-right side of the recipe. It requires the Saint’s Diamond as an ingredient and Wind Element Level 6.
You will find the Effect 2 loop, for Special Materials XL, on the top-left side. It requires the Glass Flower as an ingredient and Ice Element Level 10.
The Effect 3 loop, for Trait Level Up XL, is also on the top-right side, just under the Effect 1 loop. It requires Metal-type ingredients and Ice Element Level 7.
Finally, the Effect 4 loop, for Eye for Material, is on the top-left side, just under the Quality loop. It requires another Saint’s Diamond and Wind Element Level 1.
After unlocking all four effects, your Mirage Loupe will be complete.
Mirage Loupe Uses
The Mirage Loupe allows you to gather higher quality ingredients with more traits and allows you to see which ingredients you will gather from any gathering node before you use a tool to gather it.
