You can synthesize the Monster Attractor using only two items: a Fairystone Fragment and a Poison-type ingredient.
The Fairystone Fragment is a mandatory ingredient. You will then need a Poison-type ingredient to level up the Quality loop.
Make sure to meet these requirements:
- Collect a high Quality Fairystone Fragment: You can easily gather a high Quality Fairystone Fragment in the Sunken Mine. Look for an ingredient with at least 50 Quality, which is easily doable at this point.
- Gather a high Quality Poison-type ingredient: You will also need a Poison-type ingredient with at least 50 Quality. It must also have an Ice Element Level of 1 or better.
Gathering the Necessary Ingredients
The Sunken Mine is the best location to collect a high Quality Fairystone Fragment. For the Poison-type ingredient, you can gather Poison Grass at the Hidden Village.
Collecting the Fairystone Fragment
Fast travel to Sunken Mine – Fairystone Mines. Head down and look for these light-blue stones on the water.
Use your staff on them to collect the Fairystone Fragment. Make sure to check the ingredient’s Quality.
Obtaining a Poison Grass
Next, fast travel to Weissberg Volcano – Hidden Village. Head over to the Artisan District Ruins and look for these sacks.
Collect them to obtain the Poison Grass. Once again, make sure it has at least 50 Quality.
Synthesizing the Monster Attractor
With all the ingredients at hand, fast travel back to the Atelier. Use the cauldron and scroll down to the Monster Attractor recipe.
Insert the Fairystone Fragment with the highest Quality into the Effect 1 loop.
Next, select the Quality loop, which requires a Poison-type ingredient. At Ice Element level 1, this loop adds 10 Quality to the recipe.
Insert the high Quality Poison Grass into the Quality loop.
By doing this, you will easily meet the 60 Quality requirement using only two ingredients.
Synthesize the recipe to obtain the Monster Attractor of Quality 60 or better.
Take the Monster Attractor to Empel, who is inside the Atelier, and you will complete the quest.
