Introduction:
The Orichalcum Fangs appear as a spark in the sands of Aridea (Dream World) that you can pick up once you learn of the buried treasure there. To learn of it, you must reach level B3 of the Fungeon and reach a different version of Weaver’s Peak.
From there you have to talk to the person in Tania’s House and say yes to the prompt, then you can visit any of the locations and talk to different npcs to learn about the treasure.
How to get the Orichalcum Fangs:
Depending on which of the above choices you make, you’ll need to talk to a different npc to learn about the location of the Orichalcum Fangs. Although they all lead to the same end goal, they each have different themes which may appeal to different people, and you can only choose one per game.
The near future:
Choosing the near future will lead you to a version of Reaper’s Peak featuring characters from Dragon Quest IV. To learn of the treasure in this reality, you must head to the west of town and talk to the person named Torneko Taloon on the rug next to the pots.
The far future:
Choosing the far future instead will land you in a version of Reaper’s Peak with characters from Dragon Quest V. To learn of the treasure here, you’ll need to talk to the daughter of Bianca, Madchen, located within the inn directly west and up the stairs by the entrance.
You can pick any of the names provided and it’ll work, then just talk to the sabrecat until the treasure’s location is revealed.
Monsters Today:
This choice provides a version of Reaper’s Peak inhabited by the monsters of Dragon Quest VI. You’ll be able to learn of the treasure by visiting the second floor of the pub and talking to the monster that is up there., located directly east of the entrance past the first building.
Aridea
After learning of the treasure’s location in one of the three ways provided, you can cast Evac within the Fungeon and then zoom to Aridea. Head directly west until you hit the well, then there should be a sparkle that will be the Orichalcum Fangs.
Why you should get the Orichalcum Fangs:
The Orichalcum Fangs are very powerful, with an attack bonus of +135 and a style bonus of +37, they are the second strongest weapon in the game, only being beaten out by the Gringham Whip. They also have a special ability of a 12.5% chance to insta-kill any non-boss enemy instantly, making them a very worthy pick up especially if you were already planning on clearing the Fungeon in the first place.
