In order to clear the final part of the chapter, you will need to complete the following tasks:
- Head further in the Sunken Mine and continue to the next area.
- Make your way through the Klint Kingdom Ruins and enter the gate to the Underworld.
Chasing After Bos
After Lumbar leaves, head further into the mines. The party will find out that the water has dried out, revealing a new path leading to the depths of the Sunken Mine.
Read through the dialogue, then follow the trail and continue to the next area, River Cave.
In the River Cave, follow the trail heading south.
Once you get to the end of the path, turn west and cross the cobblestone bridge. Then, walk up the stairs and follow the trail leading to the next area, Forgotten Altar.
The Forgotten Altar is a linear area, so just head west in a straight line. You will discover the Maiden’s Mirror and Ancient Bridge landmarks along the way.
After crossing the Ancient Bridge, continue along the trail and head to the next area, Dreamer’s Shore.
Through the Ruins and to the Underworld Gate
Having left the mine, the party will reach a new area, the Hidden Cove Temple. This new area consists of ancient ruins from the Klint Kingdom, and it also houses the gate leading to the Underworld.
Follow the dirt trail until you get past the Safety Flower. Then, turn south, walk down the slope and head to the ruins.
Make your way through the ruins, and then walk up the stairs at the end of the path to access the next area, Cathedral Garden.
At Cathedral Garden, walk south down the stairs, then continue to the western side of the hall.
Continue until the end of the path, then turn east and walk up the stairs.
As soon as you walk up the stairs, a cutscene will play. Ryza and Empel will discover the first of the Travel Bottles, which you can use to obtain ingredients. You can learn more about Travel Bottles here.
After collecting the Travel Bottle, continue to the end of the path, until you get to the stairs. Head east down the stairs, then turn south and continue along the hall.
Once you get to the center of the path, turn south and walk up the stairs.
Continue up the stairs, and then head to the door, past the Honor Guard Armors. They will try to attack you right away, so, if you want to avoid fighting the monsters, make a run for it.
Past the door, you will enter the final area of Hidden Cove Temple, Boundary Cathedral. Make your way to the Underworld gate at the end of the hall.
The party will decide to enter the gate in order to go after Bos. Read through the dialogue, and then continue to the next chapter.
