For the third part of this chapter, you will only need to clear one requirement:
- Synthesize a Plajig and a Luft.
After defeating the Old Castle Dragon, fast travel to Kurken Island – Treppe Hill and read through the dialogue.
After that, return to the Atelier. Empel and Lila will pay you a visit. Again, just read through the dialogue.
Empel will also add the Power Reactor from Part 2 to the Atelier’s forge. Again, you probably won’t get much use out of it for now.
Following the long dialogue, you will learn another three recipes – Plajig, Luft, and Trickling Breeze.
In order to clear Part 3, you will need to synthesize Plajig and Luft. These are two very simple recipes. Since there are no Quality requirements, you will only need to collect two ingredients for each recipe.
Gathering the Ingredients
Plajig requires a Lightning Ore, while Luft needs a Wing Plant.
Lightning Ore
Fast travel to Sunken Mine – Fairystone Mines, then head over to the deepest part.
Use the staff on the rocks with yellow ores in order to obtain Lightning Ores.
Wing Plant
Fast travel to Traveler’s Road – Northern Fork. Equip the Reaper’s Scythe and use it on the dark-green bushes to obtain the Wing Plant.
Synthesizing Plajig and Luft
Having collected the ingredients, return to the Atelier and start the synthesis.
Again, you don’t need to meet any Quality requirements for these two items. Use two low-Quality Lightning Ores and synthesize Plajig.
Repeat the process for Luft, using two low-Quality Wing Plants.
After you complete the two synthesis, the game will proceed automatically. Read through the dialogue again and continue to Part 4.
