In order to progress through this part of the chapter, you will clear the following requirements:
- Talk to the fishermen at Kurken Port.
- Discover the Maple Delta and obtain a Fragrant Honey Tree.
- Synthesize a Powerful Fish Bait of at least 70 Quality.
Investigating the Lake
After Empel and Lila’s visit, head back to Kurken Island – Boden District. You will run into Bos and Lumbar as soon as you arrive.
Read through the dialogue, and then head back to the Atelier.
Back in the Atelier, the party will decide to investigate the lake. Read through the dialogue again, and then fast travel to Kurken Island – Kurken Port.
Fishermen’s Request
At the port, the fishermen will come talk to Ryza about the fish bait. You will then obtain the next task – synthesizing a Powerful Fish Bait of at least 70 Quality.
Empel will suggest you head over to the forest north of Traveler’s Road in order to obtain an ingredient with a strong odor.
But, before that, return to the Atelier.
Plant Seeds
Once you get back to the Atelier, a cutscene will play, and you will gain access to the garden, which will allow you to plant seeds.
You will also automatically learn the recipe for Plant Seeds. Learn more about how to use seeds here.
Maple Delta
Now, fast travel to Traveler’s Road – Northern Fork. This time, turn west at the fork and then follow the dirt trail heading northwest.
Once you get to the end of the trail, you will notice that the path is currently blocked by some boulders.
Equip your hammer and use it on the boulders to clear the path.
Proceed to the next area in order to access the Maple Delta.
