You can create a Quality 80 Prosthetic Arm by using high Quality Dragon ingredients. You can easily obtain them at Meteor Castle.
The Prosthetic Arm also requires a Resonance Orb. This ingredient can only be obtained by using the Travel Bottle.
Here is what you will need to do in order to complete the quest:
- Raise your Alchemy Level: The Prosthetic Arm requires Alchemy Level 28. You can easily raise your level by upgrading your party’s equipment. A single equipment morph gives enough experience for one full level.
- Collect the Resonance Orb: This is a guaranteed drop when you use the Travel Bottle for the first time. You can also repeat the process as many times as you need to obtain additional Resonance Orbs.
- Obtain a high Quality Dragon-type ingredient: You can easily get Dragon Eggs with 90 Quality by defeating the Watcher at Meteor Castle – Dragon’s Fire Tower.
Collecting the Ingredients
This recipe requires one Resonance Orb and two high quality Dragon-type ingredients.
Obtaining a Resonance Orb
The Resonance Orb is available inside the Travel Bottle.
Select “Travel Bottle: Sun” and then “Explore”.
You will find a purple cloud of smoke a few steps away.
Check the cloud to obtain the Resonance Orb.
You can leave the Travel Bottle by fast traveling to any location, without needing to look for the exit.
If you decide to collect additional Resonance Orbs, select “Travel Bottle: Sun” again. This time, choose “Synthesize” instead.
You will need to use your ingredients to change worlds. Rare ingredients can create high level worlds, which usually contain higher Quality Resonance Orbs.
If there is no Orb near the entrance, you will usually find it deeper into the map.
A single Resonance Orb with at least 50 Quality will be enough for this recipe.
Getting the High Quality Dragon Ingredients
You will easily achieve the 80 Quality requirement by using two Dragon Eggs.
Fast travel to Meteor Castle – Dragon’s Fire Tower.
Climb up to the top, where you battled the Old Castle Dragon in “The Panicking Boy” part 2. The boss has been replaced by a Watcher.
Defeating the Watcher will reward you with Quality 90 Dragon Eggs as a rare drop. The Watcher always respawns, allowing you to repeat the process as many times as you need.
Synthesizing the Prosthetic Arm
After obtaining the ingredients, fast travel back to the Atelier. Use the cauldron and scroll down to the Prosthetic Arm recipe.
Add the Resonance Orb to the Effect 1 loop.
Next, move on to the Effect 2 loop. Add the two Dragon Eggs and you will easily meet the Quality requirement.
Synthesize the recipe to obtain a Prosthetic Arm with at least Quality 80.
Take the Prosthetic Arm to Lila outside the Atelier and you will complete the quest.
