How to Create the Pynnor Key and the Holy Drop for “The Manmade Island” Part 1 in Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout

You will create the Pinnor Key with a Holy Drop, which requires three different recipe morphs:

Here are all the requirements you need to clear before proceeding:

Raise your Alchemy Level: The Pynnor Key requires Alchemy Level 39.
Obtain a Beast Venom Pouch and an Underworld Rotwood: You can still obtain these two ingredients at the Boundary Cathedral.
Collect a Holy Tree Leaf: This ingredient is available at the Pynnor Holy Tower.
Synthesize one Poison Cube: You will need at least one additional Poison Cube to unlock the Holy Drop morph.

Gathering the Necessary Ingredients

This is an easy to follow list with all the necessary ingredients for the three morphs.

For the first recipe morph (Flour into Poison Cube):

For the second recipe morph (Poison Cube into Taboo Drop):

For the third recipe morph (Taboo Drop into Holy Drop)

Both ingredients were previously available in the Underworld. However, you can still obtain both items even if you missed them on the first visit.

Fast travel to Hidden Cove – Boundary Cathedral.

Look for these scorpion-like Philuscha, the Stingers.

You will obtain the Beast Venom Pouch as a common battle drop. Gather at least four.

You can also find the Underworld Rotwood at the Boundary Cathedral. Look for these wooden boxes lying around.

Use your staff on them to collect the Underworld Rotwood. Gather at least two.

You will find the Holy Tree Leaf in the Pynnor Holy Tower.

Fast travel to Pynnor Tower – Spiral Hall. Investigate the rooms and look for these sacks.

Collect them to obtain the Holy Tree Leaf. You will only need one, as long as it has at least an Element Level of 4.

After obtaining the ingredients, return to the Atelier and use the cauldron. You will need to complete the recipe morphs first.

Start off by synthesizing one Poison Cube. You can obtain it as a Flour recipe morph by inserting a Beast Venom Pouch into the Recipe loop.

Synthesize at least one Poison Cube with Element Level 3.

Next, select the Poison Cube recipe. The Recipe loop is located on the left side.

Enter the Beast Venom Pouch into the Effect 1 loop.

Insert any Poison-type ingredient into the Effect 2 loop. Next, insert a Beast Venom Pouch into the Traits loop.

Add the Underworld Rotwood to the Recipe loop. This loop requires a Lightning Element Level 2 ingredient.

Do not synthesize the Taboo Drop. You can proceed straight to the Holy Drop instead.

The Recipe loop you need is on the bottom-right corner.

Insert an Underworld Rotwood into the Effect 1 loop.

Use a Dragon-type ingredient to fill the Traits loop. Next, use your additional Poison Cube into the Effect 2 loop.

Insert a Poison-type ingredient into the second Effect 2 loop. Add the Holy Tree Leaf to the Recipe loop and you will complete the final morph.

This loop requires an ingredient with Ice Element Level 4.

You can now synthesize the recipe to obtain the Holy Drop.

Scroll down the list and select the Pynnor Key recipe. Insert your newly-synthesized Holy Drop into the Quality loop and you will obtain the Key.
