There are a couple of ways to get Roteswasser Tonic at virtually anywhere in the game regardless of your progress, however one of the best methods are:

• By harvesting Water Gathering Points in at Maple Delta, Meteor Castle or Kurken Bunker, with the absolute fastest one being Maple Delta – Sweet River.
• By using Travel Bottles to create a mini-area that spawns Roteswasser Water.

No gathering tools are needed to get Roteswasser Tonic, so it can be done at any time.

Best Locations for Farming Roteswasser Tonic

Maple Delta – Sweet River

One of the fastest ways to get Roteswasser Tonic is by harvesting the Water Gathering Point by the stream found in Maple Delta – Sweet River. However, the fastest way to get to that node is actually by first traveling to Maple Delta – Fragrant Forest.

The reason for this is that the water gathering node is actually close to the exit of Sweet River that connects to the entrance of Fragrant Forest. So if you travel to Fragrant Forest, you simply need to turn around and enter Sweet River and you’ll be just a few seconds from the water gathering node.

First, travel to Maple Delta – Fragrant Forest.

Once you arrive, immediately turn around (you don’t even have to turn your camera, just have Ryza walk behind her) and exit Fragrant Forest to enter Sweet River.

Once you’re in Sweet River, walk down the path towards the river at the center of the map. You’ll see a Water Gathering node that looks like a sparkling column of light in the water by the river’s edge. The dragons flying near by are aggressive and will chase you for a fight if you get near them.

When you gather at this node, you’ll get both Clear Water and Roteswasser Tonic in roughly equivalent amounts. It never runs out so if you spam Gather for a minute or two, you’ll collect enough Roteswasser Tonic and Clean Water to fill up your inventory and fulfill pretty much any of your synthesizing needs.

Using Travel Bottles to farm Roteswasser Water

Typically, we would include a Travel Bottle section along with a list of available bottle codes you can use to access areas with Roteswasser Tonic. However, the method described above is so much faster and effortless that there would be absolutely no benefit to using Travel Bottles to farm Roteswasser Tonic, even if you wanted to split farm two materials.

In the amount of time it would take you to input the bottle code, load into the travel bottle world, run around and harvest the roughly 10 to 16 Roteswasser Tonic in the travel bottle world while avoiding combat with the world’s enemies then exiting the world, you could have collected enough Roteswasser Tonic from the Sweet River source to fill up your entire inventory.

For this reason, we won’t be including a Travel Bottle section for Roteswasser Tonic. The original method is simply the superior method regardless of your progress in the game.
