In order to unlock the recipe for Ryza’s ultimate weapon, Agnes Luce, you must clear the normal quest “Pamila’s Triumphant Return”.
You will also need to clear these requirements:
- Advance the main story: Agnes Luce, like all other ultimate weapons, only becomes available in the final chapter, “Code of the Universe”.
- Create a Fishing Rod: In order to clear Pamila’s quest, you will need to fish sardines.
- Unlock the Grand Orgen recipe: The node for the Grand Orgen recipe is on the top side of the Skill Tree, and requires 1500 SP.
- Gather Glittering Sand: You can find Glittering Sand in the Nemed region.
Unlocking the Agnes Luce Recipe
Fast travel to Kurken Island – Goat Pasture. From the landmark, head over to the slope on the northwest.
You will find Pamila standing outside the house.

Talk to her in order to unlock the normal quest “Pamila’s Triumphant Return”.
In order to clear the quest, you simply need to fish 30 sardines, and then deliver them to Pamila.
Sardines can be obtained from fishing spots in these areas:
- Kurken Island.
- Kark Isles.
- Abandoned Village.
- Hidden Cove.
- Mining Highway.
- Sardonica.
- Fairystone Cargo Route.
- Portta Hills.
- Nemed Forest.

Once you meet the quest’s requirement, report back to Pamila and deliver the 30 sardines.

She will then give you the recipe for Agnes Luce as a reward.

Once you return to the Atelier, you will immediately learn the recipe.

Obtaining the Ingredients
Agnes Luce requires Glittering Sand as one of the two core ingredients.
Glittering Sand
You can find Glittering Sand around the Nemed region. The easiest gathering spot is near the Central Blockade’s front gate.
Fast travel to Nemed Forest – Front Gate Ruins, and then head to the mountain path to the east.
At Gathering Rank 3, you can collect the dirt mounds near the stone bridge to gather Glittering Sand.

Synthesizing Agnes Luce
After obtaining all the core ingredients, return to the Atelier.
Start by creating 11 Grand Orgen ingots.
Best Weapon for Ryza
In Atelier Ryza 3, the weapons have standalone recipes, without morphs. This makes all weapons viable, at least in theory.
Earlier weapons will have slightly slower stats, although the difference is minimal.
Ryza has other four options available, aside from Agnes Luce:
| Weapon | Primary Ingredient | Secondary Ingredient | Effect 1 | Effect 2 |
| Alchemist’s Staff | Ingot | (Lumber) | Increases CC gain rate | Increases item effects by 10% |
| Svate Rod | Startium | Tough Log | Increases magic damage | Supporter level up |
| Celestial Seeker | Creaminea | Spirinite | Reduces the wait time for skillsSkills can deal additional Stun Gauge damage | Defender level up |
| Sparkling Reverie | Goldoterion | Holy Arbor Crystal | Increases the critical rate for skills and items | Attacker level up |
If you choose to use the weapons listed above, look for any loops in the respective recipes that require generic Ingot-category ingredients.
Simply go along with the synthesis flow until you get to that loop, and then add as many Grand Orgen ingots as possible to it.
