You can create the Sage Circlet by adding an Old Magical Tome to the Waking Emerald recipe. Waking Emerald is the fourth morph in the Polishing Powder’s recipe tree.
Here are the requirements you need to meet before proceeding:
- Create the Golden Axe: You will need an axe with Gathering Rank 3. Creating a Golden Axe is the easiest way to do it. Alternatively, you can use an Ice Essence on a regular Woodcutter’s Axe.
- Create the Blue Bomb Rod: You will also need a Bomb Rod with Gathering Rank 3. Making a Blue Bomb Rod is the fastest way to achieve it. Another option would be using a Wind Essence on a Bomb Rod.
- Unlock the Plajig recipe: You will also need a Lightning Sand for this recipe. Lightning Sand is the second morph in the Plajig’s recipe tree.
- Create multiple Grand Orgen ingots with “Gear Synth +” effects: You can stack up stats in the Sage Circlet’s recipe. Using multiple Grand Orgen ingots with “Gear Synth +” effects is the best way to achieve this.
Synthesizing the Sage Circlet
Before getting started, make sure to unlock the Plajig recipe in the Skill Tree. You will find the node on the left side.
Unlocking the Plajig node costs 150 SP.

You will also need to create at least one Lightning Sand unit to use in the Waking Emerald recipe.

With all materials in hand, use the cauldron and select the Polishing Powder recipe.
You will have to start the Sage Circlet synthesis from the earliest recipe in the tree. Doing so will let you use extra ingredients and stack up stats.
These are the ingredients you will need to complete the process:
- Ashen Sand.
- Sand-type ingredient.
- A second Sand-type ingredient (Wind Element level 2 loop).
- Shell Pearl (Ice Element level 3 loop).
- Another two Shell Pearls.
- A third Sand-type ingredient (Ice Element level 3 loop).
- Amberlite (Lightning Element level 2 loop).
- Beehive-type ingredient.
- Amber Fragment.
- Mana-Eater Branch (Fire Element level 3 loop).
- Puniball-type ingredient.
- Emerald Grass (Lightning Element level 4 loop).
- Magical-type ingredient.
- Polishing Sand.
- Another Emerald Grass (Lightning Element level 3 loop).
- Old Magical Tome (Wind Element level 4 loop).
- A fourth Sand-type ingredient (Wind Element level 4 loop).
- At least 18 Grand Orgen ingots with the “Gear Synth: All” and “Gear Synth: ATK/SPD” effects.
You can use ingredients with Effect Spread in order to save a few materials. However, this isn’t mandatory, and will only be worth a few stat points at the end of the process.
In the Polishing Powder recipe, insert Ashen Sand in the Effect 1 loop.

Insert a Sand-type ingredient in the Traits loop.

Move to the left side of the recipe and add a Sand-type ingredient to the Quality loop.

Complete the first morph by adding a Shell Pearl to the Recipe loop, which requires Ice Element level 2.

Do not complete the synthesis. In the Pearl Crystal recipe, insert a Shell Pearl in the Effect 1 loop to the right.

Keep following the flow to the right side. Insert a Sand-type ingredient in the Traits loop. This loop has an Ice Element level 3 requirement.

Add a Shell Pearl to the Effect 4 loop.

Use an Amber Crystal in the Recipe loop to complete another morph. Again, do not synthesize it yet.

In the Amberlite recipe, skip the Effect 1 loop. Continue straight to the Effect 2 loop and insert a Beehive-type ingredient.

Add an Amber Fragment to the Effect 3 loop.

Use a Mana-Eater Branch in the Recipe loop to complete the third morph. Do not synthesize the item.

In the Spirinite recipe, skip the Effect 1 loop once again. Move to the Effect 2 loop on the left side and insert a Puniball-type ingredient.
You can use a Puni Leather with “Gear Synth: ATK/DEF+” and “Gear Synth: All+”, although this is entirely optional.

Complete the fourth morph by adding Emerald Grass to the Recipe loop. This loop has a Lightning Element level 4 requirement.
Once again, don’t synthesize the recipe.

In the Waking Emerald recipe, skip the Effect 1 loop and proceed to the right side. Add a Magical-type ingredient to the Effect 2 loop.

Move to the Quality loop on the bottom and use the Lightning Sand.

Use an Old Magical Tome in the Recipe loop to complete the fifth morph. This loop has a Wind Element Level 4 requirement.

u will then unlock the Sage Circlet. Do not synthesize it just yet, as you will need to stack up stat points.
In the Sage Circlet recipe, move to the Effect 1 loop on the top side. Insert a single Sand-type ingredient with Wind Element level 4 or higher.

Proceed to the Effect 3 loop on the bottom-right. Use all the remaining ingredients to add as many Grand Orgen ingots as possible.
By following these steps, you should be able to add 18 Grand Orgen ingots.
If, instead, you decide to prioritize the effects, skip this step and focus on upgrading the other loops.
If you have a Wind Essence, you can use it on the second Effect 1 loop to unlock Heat Increase XL. Likewise, you can use a Lightning Essence on the second Effect 2 loop to unlock Sage’s Knowledge XL.

Synthesize the Sage Circlet. You will be able to unlock all effects later by using the Item Rebuild option.

In order to max out the Sage Circlet’s effects, you will need the following ingredients:
- Waking Emerald (Lightning Element level 4 loop).
- Another two Waking Emeralds (Lightning Element level 9 loops).
- Gemstones-type ingredient (Wind Element level 3 loop).
- A second Gemstones-type ingredient (Wind Element level 4 loop).
- A third Gemstones-type ingredient (Wind Element level 9 loop).
- Metal-type ingredient (Lightning Element level 3 loop).
- A second Metal-type ingredient (Lightning Element level 5 loop).
- Old Magical Tome (Wind Element level 9 loop).
- A second Old Magical Tome (Wind Element level 5 loop).
Once complete, the Sage Circlet will have these effects:
- Heat Increase L.
- Sage’s Knowledge L.
- Reduce Damage -5%.
- Evasion +3%.

You can also use the Evolution Link option to add an EV-Effect.
