In order to synthesize the Scintilla Glass, you will need a Scintilla Ore and a Crimson Ore.
Here is what you need to do for this quest:
- Discover the Scintilla Mine: The Scintilla Mine is located to the southeast of Sardonica. However, the area is tricky to access and quite easy to miss.
Obtaining the Ingredients
You can obtain both ingredients in the Cleria region.
Scintilla Ore
You can only obtain the Scintilla Ore in the Scintilla Mine. While this area is located to the southeast of Sardonica, you will need to walk a long distance to get there.
Start off by taking Sardonica’s eastern exit. Simply head south along the trail until you reach the Waterfall Basin Sandbank.
At the Waterfall Basin Sandbank, walk to the waterfall and climb up the vines to the left.
Once you reach the top of the cliff, continue along the trail and you will arrive at the Scintilla Mines.
Use the Woodcutter’s Axe on the boulders around the mine in order to collect Scintilla Ores.
Make sure to collect additional Scintilla Ores. You will need to deliver five of them back to Saverio.
Crimson Ore
You can find the Crimson Ore at the mining area to the south of Astrade Heights – Fountain Square Entrance.
Use the staff on the rocks with red ores and you will obtain a Crimson Ore.
Alternatively, you can go back to the Kurken Island Area and collect Crimson Ores near the Atelier.
Synthesizing the Scintilla Glass
After obtaining all ingredients, return to the Atelier and select the Scintilla Glass recipe.
Insert a Scintilla Ore in the Effect 1 loop.
Add a Crimson Ore to the Effect 2 loop.
Use a Fuel-category ingredient in the Effect 3 loop.
You can synthesize the recipe after adding these three ingredients.
Fast travel to Sardonica – Glasswork Workshop. Deliver the Scintilla Glass to Saverio in order to complete the quest.
