You’ll need four Red Fragments to restore this pillar. You can find them in Faraday, both in the past and the present. Doing so will let you travel to Greenthumb Gardens and continue the main story.

Finding the first fragment
Recommended level: 13
The fields in Faraday are full of Automatons, who can be a bit tough for your party right now. Abuse Ruff’s “Aooo!” skill to paralyze the Automatons for a turn.
Walk south from the teleporter and enter the nearby town. Go to the southeastern corner, below the ramp, and enter the storeroom there. The Red Fragment is in the middle of the room, surrounded by pots and barrels. One of those barrels also has a Seed of Strength.
Finding the second fragment
Recommended level: 13
For this one you’ll have to talk to quite a bit of characters first. Exit Frobisher and follow the main road south and then west to get to Faraday Castle.
Talk to the guard in the eastern room and say “yes” twice to him to start a fight with the Drill Sergeant. It’s a straightforward and short fight; you can just attack until it ends.
After beating him, enter the castle and talk to the king on the second floor. Accept helping him and exit the throne room through the southern door. Go to the western tower and fall into the pit to go to the soldier’s room.
Speak to everyone in the soldier’s room and they’ll ask you to visit Autonymous, in his cabin to the west. Exit Faraday Castle and follow the road west until you get there. Talk to him and then return to the castle.
Speak to everyone in the soldier’s room again and then return to Autonymous’ house. Head back to the castle and fight the Automatons there.
After fighting all the robots and speaking to the people in the castle, they’ll ask you to go to the Automaton Stronghold and fight them there. The place is to the northeast of Frobisher.
Inside the stronghold, you’ll simply have to follow the lit path. Turn right first and go down on the elevator. Walk south and take the next elevator in the middle of the room, and then walk north and take down the two automatons blocking the entrance.
Head to the right side of this last room and you’ll find the next Red Fragment lying on the floor.
Finding the third fragment
This time you’ll have to reach Faraday in the present time. You’ll find the new island to the southeast of Estard.
The next Red Fragment can be found in the house where Autonymous used to live in the past. Go to the shed below the main house to find it.
Finding the fourth fragment
Recommended level: 14
For the last piece you’ll need to help Ambrose. Head to the throne room in Faraday Castle and talk to the king.
He’ll talk about his wish to be able to make his own robots. After this, a soldier will come and they’ll all go west to Autonymous’ house. You’ll need to go there too.
They’ll capture the robot that helped you in the past, and they’ll arrest Ambrose for not informing them about that robot.
Go visit Ambrose in the prison, exiting the throne room through the southern door and entering the tower to the northeast. He’ll ask you to talk to his granddaughter. In this room you’ll also find a Green Fragment!
Exit Faraday Castle now and go to Frobisher. His granddaughter is in the southeastern building. After talking to her she’ll tell you about a treasure hidden in the barrel beside the river.
Enter the northeastern building, and exit through the southern door on the first floor. Break this barrel to find a Globular Pistotron. You’ll have to go back with Ambrose and give it to him.
Ambrose will disguise himself as a guard and he’ll accompany you. You’ll need to exit the main building and enter the barracks house to the east.
Ambrose will restore the robot, and after a long dialogue, he’ll be set free. Go to Frobisher again now and speak to his granddaughter; she’ll give you the last Red Fragment.
Take Ambrose to this room so you can finish the quest line
You have all the pieces you need! Cast Zoom to head back to the Shrine of Mysteries, and place all the pieces on the lower-left pillar. Doing this will teleport you to Greenthumb, allowing you to continue your journey.
