In order to create the Seeds of Light EX, you will need to find the Seeds of Light first. This is a difficult task, however, as the Seeds of Light’s location is completely random.
There is only one more requirement you will need to clear:
- Synthesize a Neutralizer: The Seeds of Light EX will require a Neutralizer of any color.
You will learn the recipe for the Seeds of Light EX upon returning to the Atelier.
Tips on How to Find the Seeds of Light
The Seeds of Light will spawn anywhere within the quest area at Nemed Forest – Collapsed Wall. Keep in mind that this area is quite large.
The main quest marker will disappear once you enter the quest area. Before going in, however, you can drop one of your own markers over the main quest marker.
Doing this will allow you to pin this location on the map.
While the Seeds of Light won’t necessarily show up at this exact spot, you can use it as a reference if you get lost in the quest area.
The Seeds of Light will spawn as an unmarked dark-brown treasure chest. This chest can be difficult to spot, especially if it spawns behind a tree.
Try searching for the Seeds of Light during the day, which will make the chest easier to spot.
The chest’s location will change once you travel to a different area.
If you are having trouble finding the Seeds of Light, just fast travel to a different place, then return to the Collapsed Wall. Doing this will make the chest spawn at a different spot, which could make it easier to find.
Once you find the chest, simply open it to obtain the Seeds of Light.
You will also need an Ancient Branch. You can obtain it by using the Woodcutter’s Axe on the trees near the quest area.
Synthesizing the Seeds of Light EX
After finding the Seeds of Light and obtaining an Ancient Branch, return to the Nemed Region Atelier.
Select the Seeds of Light EX recipe. Start by adding a Magical-category ingredient to the Quality loop on the top side of the recipe.
Add a Neutralizer to the Quality loop on the bottom-left corner.
Insert the Seeds of Light in the central Quality loop.
Finalize the recipe by adding an Ancient Branch to the Quality loop on the bottom-right corner.
After that, you can synthesize the Seeds of Light EX.
After creating the Seeds of Light EX, return to the Chief’s Manor in order to free Empel and Lila.
