For this part, you will need to clear the following tasks:
- Collect three units of Nameless Grass at Fairystone Forest.
- Synthesize a Green Supplement.
- Synthesize an Explosive Uni and Grass Beans.
Collecting the Nameless Grass
After completing part 1, you will be able to fast travel with the guide posts around Kurken.
Using the Old Town’s guide post, fast travel to Kurken Port – Fairystone Forest.
From the guide post, walk up the hill and continue to the forest.
Read through the dialogue, and then start gathering ingredients.
For this task, you will need to collect three units of Nameless Grass. In order to obtain the ingredient, swing the staff at the flashing bushes.
Repeat the process until you collect the three units. After that, the game will proceed automatically.
Synthesizing the Green Supplement
First, you will watch Empel synthesize a Green Supplement.
Once he is done, it is your turn. Since this is a tutorial synthesis, you will just need to follow the game’s indications to complete it.
Having completed your first synthesis, read through the dialogue, then press the “fast travel” key/button and return to Ryza’s room.
Back home, Ryza will start her own Atelier. Following the dialogue, you will automatically learn the recipes from Empel’s book.
For starters, you will only need to synthesize the Explosive Uni and Grass Beans recipes.
Synthesizing an Explosive Uni and Grass Beans
First, you will need to collect the necessary ingredients for the two recipes.
Each recipe will only require two ingredients. You can obtain all the materials near Ryza’s house.
Explosive Uni Ingredients
For the Explosive Uni, walk to the tree near the sign post.
Collect the urchin on the ground to obtain Uni. You will need at least two units.
Grass Beans Ingredients
For the Grass Beans, you can collect the red flowers in front of Ryza’s house.
You will obtain Health Flowers by doing so, which can be used as the Medicinal ingredient in the Grass Beans recipe.
You can also collect the blue and yellow flowers for the remaining Grass Beans ingredients.
After collecting the ingredients, return to the Atelier and synthesize one of the recipes. As soon as you complete the first of the two synthesis, the game will proceed automatically.
Read through the dialogue, then return to Ryza’s room and synthesize the other recipe. Once you complete the two synthesis, you will continue to part 3.
Try synthesizing a few more items until you get to Alchemy Level 4, as you will need it later on.
