In order to complete this part of the chapter, you will need to clear the following task:
- Return to Traveler’s Road and win three battles.
Completing the Preparations: Equipping Items
In this part, you will need to fight a few consecutive battles, which will likely require some healing in-between.
You will only be able to equip items at Kurken Island or in the Atelier. In order to equip an item, select the “Equip” option from the main menu.
Choose which character you want to equip the item to. Next, move to the Core Crystals tab, and select one of the Core Crystals.
After that, choose which item you are going to equip. The Grass Beans you synthesize earlier will be a major help, as they will allow you to heal your party outside of battle.
In order to use an item outside of battle, select the “Basket” option from the menu.
Choose a character, and then move to the “Consumables” tab. Select the item, then choose the “Use” option.
Make sure you have enough CC on the bottom left of the screen.
Back to the Mainland
After equipping your party, use the guide post and fast travel to Rasen District – Deserted Port. Head to the dock and use the boat to cross to the mainland.
Once you arrive at the shipyard, head northwest and follow the paved road into the tunnel.
Once you exit the tunnel, start looking for monsters to fight.
After defeating the monsters, read through the dialogue, then return to Ryza’s home in order to complete part 3.
