The best weapon for Tao is the Brave Emblem. You will obtain it by morphing the Holy Torrent with a Goldoterrion.
You will need to meet the following requirements to maximize the Brave Emblem’s stats:
- Achieve Alchemy Level 99: At the maximum Alchemy Level, you will be able to unlock and level up all the Brave Emblem’s loops.
- Complete all Pynnor Holy Tower treasure maps: Doing this will reward you with the Goldoterion recipe.
Obtaining the Ingredients
These are the ingredients you will need for the Brave Emblem:
- An Ingot with the Gear Synth: ATK +3 and DEF +2 effects.
- A Bronze Eizen with the Gear Synth: ATK +4 and DEF +3 effects.
- A Staltium with the Gear Synth: ATK +4 and DEF +3 effects.
- A Criminea with the Gear Synth: ATK/SPD +3 and DEF +3 effects.
- A Goldoterion with the Gear Synth: All +5 and ATK/SPD +5 effects.
After synthesizing these ingredients, use the Multiplicauldron and create extra copies. You will need the following numbers for each one:
- Ingot: one unit.
- Bronze Eisen: two units.
- Staltium: three units.
- Criminea: three units.
- Goldoterion: 30 units.
Keep the original item in case you need to create additional copies.
Synthesizing the Brave Emblem
The best way to create a Brave Emblem is by crafting one from scratch.
You will need to start from the Stake Hammer and go all the way to the final morph. This process will allow you to synthesize a Brave Emblem with higher stats.
Select the Stake Hammer recipe. Start by adding an Ingot to the Quality loop.
Proceed to the loop on the bottom-right of the recipe.
Insert a Fruit-type ingredient in the first Effect 1 loop. Next, add a Goldoterion to the second Effect 1 loop.
Add a Bronze Eisen to the Recipe loop and morph the Stake Hammer into Clairempathy. Do not synthesize the weapon.
In the Clairempathy recipe, insert a Bronze Eisen in the first Quality loop.
Move on to the loop on the upper left.
Add a Mystery-type ingredient to the Traits loop. Next, insert a Goldoterion in the second Quality loop.
Insert a Staltium in the Recipe loop to morph the Clairempathy into Destruction. Again, don’t synthesize the recipe yet.
In the Destruction recipe, start by adding a Staltium to the first Quality loop.
Continue to the loop on the lower right.
Insert an Amber Fragment in the first Effect 1 loop. Then, insert a Goldoterion in the second Effect 1 loop.
Add a Staltium to the second Quality loop.
Insert a Criminea in the Recipe loop to morph Destruction into Holy Torrent. Don’t synthesize the recipe.
In the Holy Torrent recipe, insert a Criminea in the Quality loop.
Continue to the loop on the upper left.
Add a Mystery-type ingredient to the first Effect 1 loop. Next, insert a Goldoterion in the second Effect 1 loop.
Move to the loop on the right side.
Insert a Criminea in the Traits loop.
Complete the final morph by adding a Goldoterion to the Recipe loop. Don’t synthesize the Brave Emblem yet.
In the Brave Emblem recipe, add as many Goldoterion ingots as possible to the Quality loop. Doing this will allow you to stack stats.
Synthesize the Brave Emblem as it is, without effects. Don’t worry about adding traits either.
Rebuilding and Buffing the Brave Emblem
Once you synthesize the Brave Emblem, you will be able to rebuild it and unlock all loops.
Focus your resources on leveling up the Effect loops, unlocking Hero’s Medal XL. You can also level up the Role and Traits loops.
In order to rebuild the Brave Emblem, you will need the following ingredients:
- A Blue Flame Ember (Wind Element Level 3).
- A second Blue Flame Ember (Wind Element Level 5).
- A Dragon-type ingredient (Fire Element Level 4).
- A second Dragon-type ingredient (Fire Element Level 5).
- A third Dragon-type ingredient (Wind Element Level 6).
- Two Goldoterion ingots (Fire Element Level 5).
- A third Goldoterion ingot (Fire Element Level 6).
- Two Ingot-type ingredients (Wind Element Level 5).
Aside from rebuilding the Brave Emblem, you can also buff it. Use the Power Reactor and select the “Weapon Buff” option.
Buffing a weapon allows you to add effects from other items to it. With all Power Reactors unlocked, you will be able to add three different effects.
Keep in mind that you can only buff a weapon once. Choose the right items before proceeding.
After buffing a weapon, you will be able to forge it. Forging allows you to increase a weapon’s stats and to add new traits.
Unlike buffing, there is no limit to how many times a weapon can be forged. Adding new ingredients and items costs up to 1 million Gems per unit.
It’s possible to raise a weapon’s stats all the way to the 999 cap. This is a time-consuming process, however.
Items and ingredients you use to buff or forge a weapon will disappear from the inventory. Remember to create additional copies beforehand.
