There are 64 landmarks you will need to find for Tao’s Exploration Log, of which 10 of them are located on Kurken Island. Some of them are hidden around the maps while others are only accessible with specific gathering tools.
You will need to complete the following requirements to access all landmarks:
- Defeat the final boss: The final landmarks only become accessible once you beat the Ravaging Queen.
- Synthesize the Wind Shoes with Lightweight and Wind Rider: Some landmarks are locked behind wind currents or stone crossings. You will need the Wind Shoes with both effects in order to access these landmarks.

Kurken Island Landmarks
There are 10 landmarks on Kurken Island. You won’t need any specific gathering tools to access them.
Rainbow Grape Grove
Using the Guide Post, fast travel to Rasen District – Deserted Port. Follow the dirt west of the Guide Post and you will arrive at the Rainbow Grape Grove.
Homesick Cape
Use the Guide Post and fast travel to Rasen District – Near the Cove. Continue to the north of the Guide Post and you will find the Homesick Cape.
Seaside Hill
Fast travel to Secluded Farm – Southern Heights. Head southeast from your arrival point and you will arrive at Seaside Hill.
Goat Pasture
Using the Guide Post, fast travel to Secluded Farm – Near the Field. Head southwest and you will arrive at the Goat Pasture.
Steeple Reservoir
Fast travel to Boden District – To Kurken Port. Head down the staircase and you will arrive at the Steeple Reservoir.
Old Town Cemetery
Use the Guide Post and fast travel to Old Town – Old Town Entrance. Walk up the staircase to the west of the Guide Post and you will find the Old Town Cemetery.
Sunken Residence
Fast travel to Old Town – Water Fountain. Head over to the beach southeast of the Guide Post and you will arrive at the Sunken Residence.
Hillside Relic
Use the Guide Post to fast travel to Treppe Hill – Brunnen Manor. Head past the wooden fence to the northeast and continue until you reach the Hillside Relic.
Waterfall Basin
Fast travel to Treppe Hill – Waterfall. Simply make a beeline from your point of arrival and you will reach the Waterfall Basin.
Fairystone Lighthouse
Using the Guide Post, fast travel to Kurken Port – Lighthouse. Continue up the staircase to the west and you will arrive at the Fairystone Lighthouse.
