
There are 64 landmarks you will need to find for Tao’s Exploration Log, of which 9 of them are located in Meteor Castle. Some of them are hidden around the maps while others are only accessible with specific gathering tools.
You will need to complete the following requirements to access all landmarks:
- Defeat the final boss: The final landmarks only become accessible once you beat the Ravaging Queen.
- Synthesize the Wind Shoes with Lightweight and Wind Rider: Some landmarks are locked behind wind currents or stone crossings. You will need the Wind Shoes with both effects in order to access these landmarks.

Meteor Castle Landmarks
There are 9 landmarks at the Meteor Castle. You will need Wind Shoes with the Lightweight and Wind Rider effect to access some of them, as well as the Bomb Rod.

Dragon Statue

Fast travel to Meteor Castle – Heatwave Gate. Walk to the northeast, then take the staircase to the left. This is where you will find the Dragon Statue.

Knight Statue

After fast traveling to Heatwave Gate, head west from your current location. Walk up the staircase on the right side and you will find the Knight Statue.

Dragon Master Statue

You will need Wind Shoes with the Wind Rider effect to access this landmark.
Head to the northeast of the map at Heatwave Gate. Walk to the platform on the left and continue until you reach these wind currents.

Use the Wind Shoes to ride on the wind currents and you will reach the other side of the platform. Head up the staircase to the left and you will find the Dragon Master Statue.

Dragon Master’s Study

Fast travel to Meteor Castle – Lower Waterway.
Head over to the west side of the map. Enter the first room on the right and you will arrive at the Dragon Master’s Study.

Knight’s Armory

Still on the west side of Meteor Castle – Lower Waterway, enter the second room on the right. This is where the Knight’s Armory is.

Pillaged Treasure Trove

You will need Wind Shoes with the Lightweight effect in order to access this landmark.
On Meteor Castle – Lower Waterway, head over to the east side of the map. Use the Wind Shoes to skip over the rocks.

On the other side of the platform, you will find a staircase blocked by a large armored monster.

Defeat the Heavy Warrior Armor and you will gain access to the Pillaged Treasure Trove.

Iron People’s Ember

You will need the Bomb Rod or Bomb Hammer to access this landmark.
Fast travel to Meteor Castle – Upper Waterway. Follow the maze to the southeast-end of the map.
You will find a large boulder blocking the way.

Use the Bomb Rod to destroy the boulder and you will gain access to the Iron People’s Ember.

Old Castle Chapel

On Meteor Castle – Upper Waterway, head over to the west side of the map.
Enter the room to the south of the stairway. You will arrive at the Old Castle Chapel, which is also a Rest Spot.

Dragon Nest

Fast travel to Meteor Castle – Dragon’s Fire Tower. Head over to the north part of the map, where you fought the Old Castle Dragon.
Climb up the staircase and you will arrive at the Dragon Nest. You will also find a Watcher there, where the Old Castle Dragon was.
